With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
As Shu closed in on Ryu he raised his Zanpakuto to block. The two swords clang as they collide, Ryu pushing on one, Shu on the other. Shu then swings his fist, punching Ryu in the face. Surprised, he jumps backwards, landing 2 meters away from Shu. Rubbing his reddened nose, Ryu looks toward Shu.
"ow ow ow ow. Oh come on, that was just plain mean!" Ryu complains, half joking. He knew his Hand to hand combat wasn't at Shu's level, hopefully he hadn't figured that out yet. Ryu rubs his nose one final time, then slowly raises his sword in an offensive position, at a 60 degree angle in front of him. He then looks around the training ground, seeing the damage they had caused.
"Shu, Genji. After this is all over, can you both do me a favor? Help me replant all the trees we have uprooted. I'm not a big nature nut, but I do know that nature is relaxing, and I don't like to leave it damaged after training" Ryu says, before locking his eyes back on Shu, shifting his eyes from Shu to Genji.
This wasn't good, as far as he could tell, Genji was going to side with Shu. He wasn't going to last long against the two of them. Somehow he had to separate them... but how? Ryu would wait for one of them to make a move, then react accordingly.
Shu let out a loud throaty laugh at Ryu's request and quickly nodded in agreement, that sounded like a good idea, but they had to focus. Shu quickly moved his mind back to the training, the battle simulation and defeating his opponent. Ryu seemed to be waiting but for what? Genji wasn't reacting to him so the easiest move would be to attack Ryu again.
Pausing to think of an attack, Shu thought back to his last barrage his fist had landed, but was that a fluke or a weakness? Shu had to find out. Acting quickly Shu jumped back into his attack mode. His body staying loose as he goes in to strike. Moving low Shu made an uppercut slash to Ryu's midsection, at the exact instant that attack ended he stayed low making a leg sweep, then striking with his blade.

*as genji got blasted by the hado 4 he was pushed back about 10 metres before the friction from the ground stopped him from going any further than he was he was in a daze and he could hardly keep up but he must fight on then he heard ryu's statement but he could really understand it but he decided he would as the pulls a thumbs up to give his approval to what ever he had said and he didn't want to be accused of not being nice to what ever he said*
ow that hurt maybe i shouldn't of done that to annoy him hehe heh anyways i need to get in there to show what i am good at heh ow *as he moved a little as then genji stands up and walks over to his zanpukato over on the ground* hmph well lets see i really don't hope that i am helping the other cause i'm not anyways lets do some shikai shall i hah heh heh watch your step *as genji slides his fingers of his left hand down the blade as bone like claws appear on them and as his zanpukato turns into a two handed broad sword* hmph lets roll yo you two watch out this is a killer i want to make a point about this i only control about 10 percent of this ya'know so be careful and even i have to be*as genji shunpos about 7 metres away and stabs his zanpukato into the ground and says "impale from below" as 90 blades burst out from the underground and are randomly but are abit on cue but not very much so but the other 10 are more focused on ryu and shu* hmph i hope that didn't hurt both of you much but don't i hope you guys don't think that me helping the other that i'm on there side just remeber its all on all frineds *as genji pulls out his zanpukato out of the ground as the blade return to the ground* "so lets go" *as genji goes into a defensive stance* "lets roll"
As Shu slashes upward Ryu moves to the left, dodging the attack. Shu then lowers himself in an attempt to kick Ryu's legs out from under him. At that same Genji announces his attack, releasing his Shikai. The blade protrude from the ground, stabbing at random, Ryu jumps into the air to avoid the stabs, then looks to the ground.
"wow, what an attack. He can hit such a wide area at once" Ryu thinks to himself, looking at the 90 blades. Furrowing his brow, Ryu turns and looks toward Shu, who had avoided the attack himself, then back to Genji.
"I guess Shikai is an option now eh? Well, if that is the case, I'm game" Ryu smiles as he begins to raise his reiatsu. A yellow aura begins to swirl around Ryu as his power continues to rise, his energy powerful enough to break and upturn the ground several meters below him. The broken pieces of ground slowly begin to rise, hovering in the air. The ground slowly shakes as Ryu smirks.
"Command Lightning from the heavens: Kaminari" Ryu says, holding is sword downward. The entire sword glows white, glowing brightly, as electricity sparks on both Ryu and the glowing weapon. Then, it extends quickly, a blade extending from the bottom and curving. Finally, it stops glowing, showing that the katana had changed into the shape of a large black scythe. Spinning the new weapon in his hand swiftly Ryu then takes an offensive position, both hands on the staff of the scythe, blade pointing forward.
Ryu looks from Shu to Genji, then begins to speak. "I won't make a move until you release your Zanpakuto" he says speaking to Shu. Then he looks toward Genji and smirks.
As Shu is making his move to sweep Ryu he heard Genji release his shikai and a furious attack. Shu jumps and puts up bakudo 39 enkosen to block the one or two blades that come close. His eyes widen as Ryu releases his zanpakuto. A schythe and a broadsword, both very offensive minded weapons. Shu calculates quickly catching his breath for a moment before raising his blade and shouting. <<Shreik Shippuu Kire>> the chain on the bottom of his hilt grows in size and length swirling and twirling around his arm, as this happens the hilt grows another blade. Shu holds the weapon in his left hand. Shu knows Ryu is lightning based, while he still isnt sure about Genji's. Shu playing it safe decides to keep his strikes focused on Ryu till Genji shows off a little more of his abilities. Two pillars of wind now form around the blades of Shu's weapon releasing his reiatsu a large green aura erupts around Shu. His body seems to float while staying on the ground. The wind around him is furious seeming to howl as if a vicious animal. Shu smiles greatly as he shunpos towards Ryu. Stopping about 7 feet short he flips his blade twice releasing both blades of wind towards Ryu. the criss-cross flying with tremdous speed at Ryu. As this Happens Shu turns to Genji and unleashes Shakkahou. A large red blast of energy flys out of his hand towards Genji. Shu now jumps back to a safer distance to gauge his enemies for a second time.
As Shu unleashes his Shikai Ryu smiles. His reiatsu is rising more than he had thought it would, though, this didn't make him nervous, not at all, in fact, it made him excited. Electricity sparks up and down his arms, flowing into his Zanpakuto. The electrical energy was tantalizing, he loved it. Suddenly, Shu vanishes, but Ryu has no problem following him, his flash step seemed slow. His eyes follow Shu as he reappears in front of Ryu, roughly 7 feet away, then launched his attack. The X shaped blast of wind speeds toward Ryu, sounding like a train heading for him.
Ryu smiles and lifts his hand, the calls out "Ten Kaminari". Lightning then bursts from Ryu's palm, yellow in color, and much larger than any byakurai Shu had seen. The blast moves quickly, as if cutting through the air, electricity crackling loudly. The blast hits the two blades of wind, dissipating them, and racing forward toward Shu, only mere seconds from hitting.
Whether the attack hits or not, Ryu would then flash step, which has increased drastically through the activation of Shikai, a few meters from Genji, then points his hand forward.
"Number 33: Sōkatsui" Ryu announces, an enormous blast of blue energy erupting from his hand. The attack is aimed toward Genji, charging forward and destroying everything in it's path. When it finally hits it's target or misses, it explodes in a furious blast of blue flame, smoke and dust being thrown about, creating cover for the 3 battling shinigami.
Afterward, as the smoke and dust floats through the air, Ryu begins to speak again. "Number 26: Kyakko" Then, Ryu slowly fades, his body vanishing, and his reiatsu disappearing.

*as genji happy with the suprise of his attack but he was shocked at the power increase pof both ryu and shu as he wondered how he was going to do his next move " oh crud that was a surprise i didn't think that bot of them would be this string after releasing their shikai crud maybe releasing was a bad idea but it doesn't matter i hope they don't figure it pout tjhat i only have one ability for it ... well now anyways so i well besides i can do the attack on any surface i still have to try it on an arrancar's skin and if i can well i will be of great help in fighting the arrancar heh heh heh heh thats not the point huh whats that" as genji looks to see shu's shakkahou launching towards him as genji lefts his shikai to block the attack as if a blade weighted like nothing to the surprise of shu then ryu's attack as it comes towards genji he stabs it then lifts it above him then the explosion pushes him down into the ground abit creating the dust and smoke covering them*
wow that was abit dangerous dont you think geez anyways well i you both want to know my abilities but i'm not gonna tell lets see shall we lets roll *because of the smoke the vision for them was dropped so then genji had to act fast had fel ryu's reiastsu disappear " crud its gone i can still tell where shu is but just in cfase lets show them how much control of this i have and lets see if they will be more carefull" *as genji kneels down in a preying position as his zanpukato was stabbed into the ground * " lets see if they will fall for it" *genji thought*
Shu quickly dodged Ryu's attack as it burst through his own attack. Moving quickly he moved upwards avoiding the smoke as best as he could. Ryu's reiatsu disappeared and Shu cursed loudly as he moved above the heaping mound of smoke and His heart was pounding loudly as he looked at the rubble. Facing his hand towads the smoke Shu prepared himself and said. <<Hado 58 Tenran>> A large widening tornado formed from cleared away the smoke and picked up anything and anyone in its way. Shu surveyed the area noticing genji off to his right. He was on the ground in a praying position, his sword on the ground again. Shu hung back gauging his position and wondering what kind of technique he could be doing now.
Ryu cursed mentally as he noticed Shu had dodged his attack. No matter, his Bakudo made him invisible to both vision and reiatsu sensing. Unless he dissipates the Bakudo himself, it'll only last about 5 minutes. But that is plenty of time. Shu then blasts a technique very familiar to Shu, and as he does so, Ryu quickly flash steps into the open air, about 10 feet from Shu. He looks down to Genji, wondering what kind of technique this was. If he attempts to use the attack to pierce the ground with a large number of blades again, Ryu would fire a Byakurai downward, and hit one of the blades, that way, he can see if the electricity flows from the exposed blade to Genji, to check whether or not the blades are connected to him. This attack with no doubt expose him to Shu, and so, after blasting the Byakurai, he would then flash step 10 feet to the left, then behind Shu, after which, he would attack with his Scythe, slashing Shu's back. When the slash hits, it would also electrocute Shu, causing his body to feel heavy and stunned. The attack isn't lethal, Ryu made sure of that. It's just deep enough to cause pain to Shu. After the slash, Ryu would leap backwords about 10 feet, floating in the air and observe the aftermath of his attack.

*as genji still kneeled by his blade he decided to show those to that he doesn't need to hold it to use so genji stood up with the blade slightly stabed into the ground after he turned and seeing what was unfolding quite far from him "well it looks like ryu's having fun i will leave shu out of this one cause well ganging on people not fun hahah i crack myself up anyways lets see what i can do here if i can gauge where shu-sama was attacked i might be able guess hopefully where ryu-san is lets see if i can" as genji looks over at shu and tries to guess where ryu was as genji noticed the dust and smoke was alot less and ten he noticed a small shimmer of a blade "well i guess thats him"*
*as genji starts to stand up he then shunpo's without his zanpukato to shock and surprise both shu and ryu and hides his reiastu as best he could towards ryu in the small amount of dust and smoke that was still there as cover then he shunpos behind ryu grabs ryu's zanpukato's starff handle then says " shado 31 shakkahou" into ryu's back forcing him into the 15X15 metre area around his blade thn genji gats back into his preying position in mid air as he falls "watch your step as the 100 blades come up again and the 90 random and the 10 more on the point were focused on ryu form a cone under nim then are forced fast upwards towards ryu.*
