With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Bored with just sitting around and doing nothing, Abra decided to go get some training in at the Dojo. He walked in, but nobody was around. He sighed heavily, his black locks drooping over his honey brown eyes while he leered into the empty room. He gives a heavy sigh, then his eyes shift over towards the entrance.
He takes a spread out stance and points his index finger forward so that whoever walked past the door would see him. He would stand there until somebody spotted him, and the first person that did would be the one he would fight.

Rinpo let out a yawn as he walked around soul society and felt as if he could fall back asleep. Since he woke up that morning he had been feeling as though he hadn't even gone to sleep he was so tired. So, in an attempt to wake himself he made his way over to the dojo yawning occasionally on the way.
[orange] "Daruba, i have a feeling today is going to be a rather tiring day"[/orange]
[blue] "Based on the fact you are going to the dojo, Rinpo, i would probably disagree with you, you do have a habit for getting in fights after all..."[/blue]
Rinpo walked round the corner to the dojo and made his way to the door at which point Daruba was, as per usual, proved correct. There standing at the door pointing was the man that had watched him fight the previous day. Maybe this time it would be him he would have a chance to fight, Rinpo relished the idea as he had previously sensed this mans reiatsu and knew he would prove to be a challenging fight for him.
[orange] "Y'know, its rude to point, and i dont like rude people...[/orange]
Abra gave a hungry grin as he watched the person. This was the same man he had went against previously. He knew his strategy, but it would still be fun to fight him.
"Y'know, its rude to point, and i dont like rude people...
"Well you'd hate me. I'm a very rude person." He gave an evil grin and his head tilted to the side before shouting, "I challenge you to a duel!" He was so up front about it and didn't waste a single moment, then he jumped backwards deeper into the dojo, then placed his hand on the grip of his Zanpakuto, ready to draw it. "So, you gonna accept or run away like a little kid?"

Rinpo cracked his knuckles without reaching for his scimitar yet and walked into the dojo. This man may have seen him fight before but Rinpo was always thinking of new ways to use his skills and thinking of even better combat strategies. This would prove to be fun.
[orange] "If you're in such a rush to fight then make the first move tough guy." [/orange]
[blue] Rinpo, are you not even going to use a sword!?[/blue]
[orange] Not yet, im gonna let him tire himself out with attacking me first... [/orange]
Zaru strolled into the dojo. He was in the mood for some entertainment and was ready to either watch or participate in a fight. He took his zanpakuto, still sheathed, off his back and hooked it onto his waist just in case. It was then that he saw two men, one with his hand ready to draw his zanpakuto and another with seemingly no intention of doing the same.
"Looks like I might have arrived just in time" Zaru said smiling to himself
Abra's eyes flashed with confusion for a split second, and then his confident smirk returned. He was going to fight with his hands it seemed, which meant he was relying on speed more than power this round. Looks like Abra had some new observations he needed to make on this one. It was rare for him to get a chance to observe a Shinigami fight with their hands. Perhaps maybe he'd learn a few new moves himself.
"If you're in such a rush to fight then make the first move tough guy."
So he was to move first then? If he wanted Abra to attack, then he would most likely be a defensive fighter, which is easily countered. Abra's main goal now was to feint an attack, get the man to counter, and then reattack quickly to put him down. He had a bad feeling in his gut that told him one wrong move and the fight would surely be lost, but he was still more than willing to fight.
"Alright then, here we GO!" The rust that has accumulated on Abra's Zanpakuto over the years screeches against his crimson scabbard as his head tilts down and he blasts from his standing position with his sword slicing out in a wide arc. Unlike most other Shinigami, Abra's first more was not a flash-step behind the opponent, but a head-on rush with sword out, displayed, and ready.
A dust cloud was left in Abra's wake as his legs carried him speeding towards the Shinigami before him, then his eyes flicker as he reaches the center mark between the two and his plan goes into action. Abra's right hand twirls the Zanpakuto like a fan and he pulls it in front of himself, then stabs it firmly into the floor at the exact mid-point between himself and Rinpo, then, as he tugs himself past the rusty blade, he releases and disappears into a flash-step to complete the rest of the trip.
In his mind there was Rinpo, himself, and a line in between them. In the center of this line was a dot; the midpoint. Abra's plan was to go to the mid-point in a normal run so that Rinpo would set up his defenses, then once he reached the mid-point, take off into a flash-step to rattle his concentration. After the flash-step he would only travel half the distance to Rinpo, instead of ending it right in front of his face. That was the feint.
Abra exited the flash-step only six feet away from Rinpo with a fist at the ready. He was expecting Rinpo to attack as soon as Abra exited, which would result in him attacking too early and missing, which would leave him open for a heavy attack to the left side of his face. It was now or never, all these decisions had to be made in less than a split second. They had to be made now.

Rinpo stood, watching like an unmoving statue with his hands hanging loose at his sides and listened closely to Daruba speaking inside his head. Today Daruba had wanted Rinpo to try a new way of fighting, an intelligent way of fighting, NOT Rinpo's way of fighting.
[blue]Rinpo, if this is to work you MUST do exactly as i say, you cannot rush the battle headfirst as usual, do you understand me?[/blue]
[orange] Ugh, yes i understand but why are we doing this again? [/orange]
[blue] Because if you ever want to reach better ranks amongst your fellow shinigami you need to understand that evaluating the situation before attacking is much more effective than sheer offense! [/blue]
As Rinpo watched the man began and started to run at him at break neck speed. Rinpo clenched his knuckles as the man planted down his katana and shunpou'd forward. Rinpo was ready for him and pulled back his hand ready to slam it into the man when he appeared infront of him.
[blue] WAIT! You cannot see you're opponent yet you are attempting to strike him? Wait until the enemies location is known to you before you strike you fool![/blue]
Rinpo paused, wanting to continue his attack as he was sure the man would appear infront of him ready to pummel Rinpo till he bled to death but then it happened. The man appeared, but to Rinpo's surprise, and to Daruba's glee, he was a full 6 feet away.
[blue] Controlled spin kick! [/blue]
Rinpo had learned and he listened to the old man barking orders at him and took a step forward then sprung into the air spinning quickly and attempted to land his right foot in the side of the mans head.
Abra gasped in surprise as he saw what had just happened. What the hell was this guy doi-
Rinpo had taken to the air and entered a spin, his leg cutting through the wind with great speed and velocity.
Shit
Abra punched forward at the blank air, purposely throwing himself off balance. He tucked into a roll as his back slammed into the wooden floor hard and he manuvered underneath Rinpo's attack. Exiting the roll, he stretched out a hand which he used to stop his momentum as he slid backwards across the dojo floor, glaring at his opponent.
Rinpo didn't fight like that the other day. His attacks were much more head-strong and forward, but now it was like he was a completely different person. How was he doing this. Abra stood tall with his hands to his side and his deadly brown eyes gave a focused leer onto his opponent, trying to figure him out. Had he seen this fighting style before? What was the situation then? How could it be countered? All these thoughts streaked across his mind at otherworldly speeds, yet no answers were being found fast enough. It would seem that more time would be needed: More time Abra probably didn't have. His Zanpakuto began to look pretty helpful now, but he would not use it unless he was sure of what he was up against.

Rinpo looked over at his opponent grinning at the attack he had just completed.
[blue] Don't get too big headed, i'm the one directing you remember [/blue]
Rinpo stopped grinning slightly and began once again to listen to what Daruba had to say but while he waited he strapped on his small kickboxing gloves which had small pieces of wood built into the fingers stopping his fingers bending back and putting more force into his punch.
[orange] "Is that all you've got? Try again...buddy!"[/orange]
Abra blinked, then smirked at the Shinigami before him. He had a feeling he knew what he was up against, but he needed some more testing to be sure. Abra flash-stepped over to his Zanpakuto and put his hand over the grip, but then flash-stepped behind Rinpo, leaving the sword in its place.
"KEEP UP, SHINIGAMI!"
Abra shouted from behind the Shinigami, hoping for a reaction, then he jumped backwards to dodge whatever attack was to be thrown at him. Abra then tucked and rolled to the left, then charged forward towards Rinpo before throwing a quick jab.
This was the test. Whatever Rinpo did in response to these maneuvors would tell Abra exactly what he was fighting against.
