With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Twas a lovely, warm day with a cool breeze blowing over the Vizard Sanctuary, a perfect day for taking a walk, A nineteen year old boy could be seen walking around the vegetation that made up the Vizard sanctuary,Tenkachi the boy was called, but preferred the nicknames Ten,Katt or Miro, he was enjoying the sun as it shone gently up on his face.
Blasted sun ,his spirit cursed, his hollow was a quiet one and never spoke much so it was mostly his spirit that did the talking,"You are always so dark Red one",Tenkachi smiled,Never you mind , she retorted back,You humans are such pitiful creatures, any longer in the cold and you freeze, not to mention you turn different colors, she said,"What does that have to do with the situation?, it's lovely outside,anyway jus keep quiet", he smiled shaking his head at her randomness,that was Red Dragon, she was always in a dark mood,"A Spirit is supposed to reflect it's wielder", he smiled,Bah, she retorted, he ignored her, it was a beautiful day, and he intended to enjoy it.

Baaird watched from his perch on a stone wall not far from Tenkachi, a smile forming on his lips as he dropped down walking towards the boy, shuffling a deck of cards in one hand his fingers working in perfect harmony cutting the deck over and over. Stopping in front of the boy he finishes shuffling the deck, bowing low with a smile"Baaird Zellick, a humble servant of fate". Baaird finishes his statement drawing a card from the deck, and looking at it. "And who might you be my new friend?". Baaird finishes his statement twirling the ten of spades in his hand before shifting it back into the deck. A dark voice speaks into his mind "Fate has spared him warrior".

Tenkachi Glanced at the newcomer,"Well, at least I am no longer alone", as the man called Baaird introduced himself,"I am Tenkachi, but please, call me Miro, or Ten", he smiled, he didn't like using his full name, it was too.....formal, and he liked something shorter, he smiled a little as Baaird played with a deck of cards,"you any good at poker Baaird", He said looking ahead of him.
Poker , his spirit snapped,I thought you were gonna enjoy the day ,I can enjoy my day, Tenkachi smiled back,By playing some poker , it would help keep away the boredom, not the there was any, but soon the lovely day would turn into a boring day if he didn't find any entertainment.
Baaird smiled his hands moving quickly as the deck seemed flow like water bridging through the air, the cards seemed to move almost by magic his hands zipping between them as he spoke, "I play all card games my friend, but I should warn you fate smiles upon me she respects me as her servant and thus rewards me". Baaird finishes his statement the cards falling into a neat pile in the flat of his left hand, swiping the top five in fluid motion he fans them out to reveal a spade royal flush. "You see, but if you still wish to play id be happy to relieve you of some of your money, or perhaps you might consider a more... strenuous way of passing through this ungodly boring day". Baaird finishes his statement his hand dropping on to the hilt of his zapakuto a smile on his face.

A peaceful melody is heard by the two men. Hitomi sat leaning against a large white serpent who seemed to be put to sleep by the gentle music. Hitomi took the flute away from her lips and picked up her zanpakuto. The serpent disappeared, taking the form of a long white tassel at the end of her zanpakuto. She got up and walked towards the pair.
"Whachya guys playing? Go fish? I love that game, mind if I join you?" Hitomi said this with an irresistible smile on her face.

Tenkachi smiled at Baaird's comment, leading them to a garden table he sat down,"I tink it'll be me walkin away all smiles amn, I'm killer at poker, never lost a game, how bout we play a game, and this could be our deal", he smiled noticing Baaird's hand on the hilt of his sword, sub consciously his hand went to his sword as well,"You win, I give ya a duel...spar whatever,I win...I still give ya a spar", he chuckled, sitting down he offered a chair opposite to Baaird, another figure approached them, a female.
Tenkachi's hand left his hilt,"we were ju about ta play sum poker, feel free to join if ya like", he smiled, looking at the female then at Baaird,"Deal the cards", he said,"by the way, was ya name?", he said turning again to the newcomer
Baaird glances at the female Vizard who had appeared before them his muscles tensing as he drew a card from the deck turing it to see the two of spades, He quickly relaxed and went back to shuffling the deck, "And what kind of poker shall we be playing, Five card draw, stud, maybe texas hold'em". Baaird finishes his statement all the while keeping the deck moving with some incredibly fancy shuffles as he did so he thought to him self hmm should I cheat... either way I get to fight, oh but I do love to win, no no no fate shall deliver I serve her and she rewards me. Glancing at the newcomer "And what of you, are you playing?

"Five Card Draw", Tenk said smiling mischeviously, twas a slightly awkward position to be in, if he won or lost he would be sparring with Baaird, and he had justed wanted to enjoy the day, he thought himself stupid to rush things, maybe things would change, he was determined to make this game as long as possible.
You humans have no sense of fun, Red snorted, What the hell is Five Card Draw, Jus watch and learn Red-san,Tenk Smiled,and try not to be a pain in the spiritual butt, his spirit quitened,"Let's begin, like I said before, Deal"
Hitomi waltzed over to the table and sat in between the two men. "My name is Hitomi Senritsu, pleased to meet ya." She extended her hand and shook the men's hands. "So we're playing five card draw? Is that the one where you get two cards and try to get five card charlie?"
Baaird looked at hitomi raising one eyebrow and letting out a cold and dark laugh, "No, No, No, my friend five card draw is done by receiving five cards and then trading up to three in order to make the best possible hand" As he speaks Baaird deals the cards his hands moving with incredible speed as three piles of five cards perfectly stacked raise on the table putting his hand down on one he slides one towards himself smiling.
