With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Shinji was struggling to get his hair out of the knots, even after she pounced on to him. She wasn't going to trick him with something as silly as saying she took him here to seduce him, they had a perfectly good bed back in seireitei. Well, of course, Aizen wasn't here, and he was there. Of course, as she jumped off of him, mentioning Urahara helping her. He knew what was coming. Sparring...
"Eh," Shinji said, slowly standing, "Y'know I wan'ed ta sleep in, an' ya still dragged me out ta spar..."
He looked rather grumpy, lifting the sheath from his sword with his left hand, and dropping it to the ground. "An' why don'tya show me, so we can get it over with, yeah?" He said, standing casually, his sword practically pointing straight down. He didn't really want to run and assault her right away, that'd be stupid and boring. He wanted her to try and hit him. It was always more fun for him like that.

"Yeah, but you know Aizen-sama listens in on us everytime I come by. He thinks he's being sneak, but I can sense his footsteps, it's rather troublesome," Aina said frowning, frikkin Aizen, she really did not like him, yet she could never voice her opinion because she didn't have a good reason. "Tell you what, we can spar for an hour, then go back take a bath, send Aizen-sama to get lunch, leaving us alone for a while, then a nap," she said rotating her wrist that held her blade.
"And then, hm, tonight you can play some of those jazz records for me," she then added after thinking for a bit before running her hand up her blade, "Awaken, Fukurou Gekai," she spoke her katana growing into an even longer blade and the ground rumbled around them. This was her Shikai, nothing too special, something that Shinji had seen many times before as they sparred. Mostly it just helped Aina become more connected with the earth, but that was about it. It diffently wasn't in the top ten most impressive Shikai.
"Come on Shin-chan, just consider this foreplay or something," Aina spoke before running forward swiping her blade at Shinji's stomach.
"Yeah, foreplay to some jazz music and a bath," He laughed as she began to move towards him. Shinji brought his blade before him, to block the attack that was undoubtedly coming. She always went for his stomache. He grinned as she called it foreplay, how crafty of her. But, he was looking forwards to playing her those records... And the nap.
Spinning off of his left foot, he took a quick step back, and brought the broad side of his blade around towards her back, all in all moving in a quarter circle around her left side. He grinned, before jumping backwards a few feet. "C'mon, this ain't new! What'd ya wanna show me!" He yelled, the curiosity was eating at him, he could practically feel himself jumping to find out what it was.

"We should make nicknames for completely normal things more risky, that way when Aizen-sama spies, we can make him feel awkward and perverted. Perverted-Aizen-sama, I like that, I should call him that, maybe it'll stick and your whole squad will call him that," Aina said flipping her blade in her hand and bringing it behind her and blocking Shinji's attack, which she was pretty sure was going to hit her in the bum. Figures, it wouldn't have been the first time he had done that to get a rise out of her. Shesh, at least she was openly perverted, Shinji could be so sneaky about it.
She was one of the few Shinigami in the Soul Society that prefered to fight with one hand, the fact that she drew strangth from the earth allowed her to do this, and also be on par strength-wise with some of the men. There was also a reason why she only fought with one hand. She lept forward again, easily closing the meager distant between Shinji and herself. As thier blades locked, she grinned bringing up her other hand, the earth rising between them, throwing the two of them back.
"Now why would I do that, you're so lazy Jee-chan," Aina said using her private nickname for Shinji, "Like I've ever given you something without you working for it first. It would really be out of character if I just showed you."
Shinji grinned, jumping back from the wall of earth that was now rising, shaking his head. "Nah, ya jus' wanna get me ta swing at ya..."
He was actually considering just blasting one full strength arrack, with the blunt side of his blade, of course, he wouldn't want to hurt her too bad, just to see if she would get mad... But that'd take effort, effort he didn't want to put forth. So, instead he stood there, looking rather dumb, and staring at her. "Ya ain't gonna trick me inta tryin' just 'cause ya don' want to show me. I can wait forever," He grinned to her, lowering his sword again. He knew he could bring his sword to block... Unless she decided to throw him off with whatever it was he hadn't seen. His curiosity was under control for now, but he didn't know how long he could keep it under wraps before he started to try and force her... He wanted to know what the hell she was on about.

"Aw come on Jee-chan," Aina whined kicking at the dirt, but the grinned as the dirt turned into a cloud and rushed Shinji. She ran forward, appearing out of the cloud, just to lock with Shinji's blade again. "At least try, it's not going to be any fun unless you fight back and make me defend myself with it," she practically begged as she looked into his eyes, thier blades sparking as she refused to let up and back up.
"Yeah, well I can still be a bit tougher, n' still be lazy 's hell, y'know," Shinji said, putting a bit of effort into pushing her back, sending a cloud of dirt out from under his feet, as his reiatsu began to rise. "I really am curious. Almost 'nough ta try."
He grinned as he kept increasing his reiatsu, not quickly, just steadily. He'd find the perfect point to be able to push her, and not have to exert himself any more that was absolutely necessary. Even his craftiness was involved with his laziness. It was good to be smart and lazy.
As his reiatsu was strong enough to begin to take leverage over her blade, he grinned, tilted his head, and said, "I dare ya ta ask me ta try 'gain," though, he knew she would. And he never did. But this time, he was thinking about it. Just one quick burst and force her into a corner. Then he'd know what this was about.

"No," Aina said looking rather bored as she jumped backwards breaking the lock on their blades. She powered down from her Shikai and put a hand on her hip, knowing that just dangling a secret in front of Shinji then pulling it away drove him crazy. "I don't wanna show you now," she told him simply, picking up his more casual form of talking as she rested her blade on her shoulder.
"Plus I don't like that just 'cause you're a few years older then me, you think you're stronger then me," she said looking down her nose at him, "Just 'cause you're a Captain and all," she then snorted a little bringing her blade forward so she could look at it. "Shesh, Jee-chan, ever think that some of us just don't wanna be a Captain so we don't show off our Zanpaktou," she grinned hinting at her secret.
"Yeah, everyone in Seireitei knows exactly what I can do, y'know, "Shinji grinned. She was having way too much fun, and he didn't want to fall into this little trap of hers. He kicked up his sheath, caught it, and sheathed his blade, dropping it so it leaned against a tree. "An' ya soun' like yer tryin' ta tell me ya figured yer bankai out, eh?"
Shinji might play stupid, but he wasn't... And he wasn't going to play stupid on something like this. "Tha's huge, unless yer pullin' ma leg, y'know? An' ya know I'm jus' gonna bug ya ta let me see it 'til ya show me. So ya may as well," Shinji added, leaning against the tree and yawning. "Or maybe I'll jus' go home an' go back ta sleep and say ya got lost out here, so Aizen can come lookin' for ya."

"That's because you yap too much, it's a simple fact that if you keep some things a secret then no one knows what you can truly do. Then in the middle of a fight you pull it out and just pummel the guy," Aina grinned, "Kind of like flashing you during sparring," she said fondly at the memory, of course Shinji had been distracted, then Wham! Clod of dirt to the fact, too easy.
Aina frowned and shook her head before her frown turned back into a grin that could match Shinji's. "Psh, maybe to you, not everyone jumps on the Bankai board, next thing you know you're a Captain of a Squad with a nerdy Vice Captain and being attacked by a midget daily," It wasn't that Aina didn't like the Vice Captain of her Squad, but Hiyori's constant yelling and hitting got tiresome after a while.
"Anyway, you haven't convinced me in anyway to let you see my secret, a girl likes to be wooed before telling such interesting information," she crossed her arms and pouted a little.
