When not on duty she changes her outfit completely to one that really shows off her body and she has fun by taunting the men, and in some cases women. She even teases some of the higher ranked officials like Shunsei Kyoruku. She is very flirtatious, but never gives anything to any of the men or women except perhaps a kiss on the cheek.Appearance:
As a member of the kidou corps Ikazuchi is dedicated to mastering all forms of kidou especially hadou and even more so all lightning based kidou. She spends half of her free time training these abilties and the other half having fun in the way mentioned in the above paragraph. She is dedicated to perfecting and improving kidou and has so far managed to use byakurai with all fingers and even the base of her feet.
There are two other things she does when not on duty. One is to visit her friend and former vice-captain Momo Hinamori to tell her about all the techniques she has helped developed. The other is to teach kidou at the shinigami academy.
As may have been noticed in the first paragraph Ikazuchi is bisexual and enjoys flirting with both men and women. She has a slight crush on two or three people close to her. One of these being Momo Hinamori though she would never tell her this for fear of ruining their friendship. She is extremely skilled at hiding her feelings for people.
Her fighting style consists of using her shunpo to outmanoever her opponent whilst striking with her kido or her shikai abilities. She is adept at battojutsu, mostly drawing slices.[/
On duty: Ikazuchi is 5ft8 and is dressed in the traditional robes of a shinto priestess with the white kimono shirt with long, wide sleeves and white tabi. There is one alteration however, she wears a black hakama. She ties her hakama with a white obi. She has white wolf ears and a white wolf tail. Her hair is also white and is tied in a ponytail using a red ribbon. Her eyes are a red. She is of an athletic body build with roughly d cup breasts.Zanpakuto Spirit:
Off duty: When off duty truly lets her hair down so it flows freely down to about halfway down her back. She also changes her outfit to one that shows off her body. She generally wears a tank top and a short skirt or short shorts though will sometimes dress in traditional school uniform to tease the men.

His personality is fierce and sharp almost the exact opposite of Ikazuchi. He is often short with her when he speaks which is rare. He talks with actions instead of words. [red]However, if she tries to deny her natural instincts he will try to coerce her into submitting to them. He is diffucult to silence.[/red]
Her zanpakutoh is a standard katana with a silver blade. The hilt is black with gold cord around it for grip. The cross guard of her zanpakutoh is silver and is a simple round oneShikai Description:
Storm the gates, Hauringuookami is the command used to unseal her zanpakutoh and allow her to use its added powers. When she speaks the command for her shikai a lightning bolt strikes the stone at the end of the hilt of her blade and it changes into a one-and-a-half handed long sword. The blade is a shining silver and the hilt is black with a yellow pommel stone hilt. Her sheath alters to accomodate her zanpakutoh allowing for her Kata Shi-suken.Shikai Abilities:
Its main ability is to wield the power of lightning, but it also boosts kidou strength.
Tenkou (Lady of Heaven): [red]This ability is activated by her thrusting her sword into the sky and then swiping it at the opponent. Five bolts of lightning will fall from the sky in the direction of her swing. These are roughly 1.25 times as strong as her byakurai. The attack ends when she thrusts her sword at her opponent and another bolt of lightning is launched roughly double the strength of her byakurai. If hit by a bolt the bolt will be sustained for about five seconds to shock the opponent and hold them there. Stronger opponents will be able to escape this more easily. [/red]Bankai Description:
Senkouboruto (Flash Bolt): This is a golden laser-like blast much like a cero that shocks anything it touches. The stronger the opponent hit with this attack the less of a shock it will cause. If an opponent is particularly powerful e.g. captain rank or an espada then they may not reciecve any shock at all. Due to the heat produced by the attack it can melt many objects. [red]This is fired by her placing her palms together facing the opponent and then the beam is launched, she can launch a weaker beam by just using one hand.
Senkouboruto Ball (Flash Bolt Ball): This is not a new attack, but more an alternate form of the senkouboruto that she can use now she has developed better control of Senkouboruto. With this she slams her palms together and then slowly moves them apart creating a large ball of golden energy. This ball is then launched at her opponent. Whilst it does not cover as large an area as the beam version when it hits the opponent it will stick to them rather then just blasting them. It will shock them for a few seconds and due to the heat it may also cause burns. After these few seconds are over it will explode causing large amounts of damage. Due to the concentration of this attack it is more draining then Senkouboruto.
Kata Shi-suken (the style of sheathed blade) - With this ability she can sheath her shikai or even activate her shikai whilst sheathed. Whilst her sword is sheathed the natural electric current of her shikai flows through her body and increases her natural balance and flexibility by 5% allowing for easier dodges. This will slowly drain her reiatsu and so she cannot sustain it indefinately.
Denkou-Fureya (Lightning Flare): This is a defensive ability. With this she can flare off a blast of lightning all over her body at once up to a range of 5ft. This allows her to blast away opponents and cause damage to the opponent. This is very draining and can only be used a few times. She can increase the range and power by focusing the lightning on one part of her body e.g. the shoulder. This ability takes roughly five seconds to charge and a strong enough opponent may not be blasted back by it [/red]

History/Background:
Her father was indian and the head of a major corporation and her mother was a japanese buddhist priestess. Her father was a buddhist also. She was born in japan where her father's company had its main headquarters. Due to her father's extraodinary wealth she was sent to a really fancy boarding school at the age of 3. She enjoyed it unlike most of the other children because of the beautiful hills that surrounded it. Her death was partially due to these hills. It was during her time at the boarding school at about age 14 that she discovered she was bisexual. Whilst she grew up she had a fondness for dogs and wolves especially her pet dog, which was a brilliant white. She was allowed to keep it with her at the school.RP Sample:
One day when she was sixteen she was dumped by her girlfriend of several months and became incredible depressed. So much that she climbed up onto one of her favourite hills with her to cry during a terrible storm. This was very foolish of her to do in any weather, but especially in a storm. Whilst she and her dog were up there they were struck by a lightning bolt and killed instantly. Strangely, the lightning bolt fused their sprits together and she gained wolf ears and a wolf tail. This combined spirit stayed in the hills which she loved so much and was almost devoured by several hollows. Hollow activity was rare in those hills, but her extremely high spiritual energy had attracted them like moths.
Fortunately, she was saved by a shinigami and was sent to soul society. She did not stay in Rukongai long however because a shinigami detected her high reiatsu and transferred her to the academy. Whilst at the academy she was found to be a kidou prodigy mastering each kidou taught to her very rapidly. She was especially talented at lightning based kidou such as byakurai and tsuzari raiden. Her favourite combination technique was to stun her opponents with tsuzari raiden and then finish them with white or red lightning depending on how powerful they were. Her skill with kidou was often compared to that of Momo Hinamori, who was also incredibly skilled in kidou.
When she graduated from the academy so in real age she would be about 22) she spent a few years in the gotei 13 as a member of squad 5. Whilst she was a member of this squad she even managed to adapt byakurai so she could fire it out of several fingers at once to launch several lightning bolts. When she reached the age of 29 she was invited to join the kidou corps and she accepted because it was a rare opportunity for any shinigami and she wanted to further her kidou mastery.
Whilst she was training out in the wilderness she was attacked by a group of twenty hollow by surprise. They were all very quick and she didn't have much time to use her kidou spells. It was in this battle that her spirit told her its name and thus she was able to use her shikai and defeated the hollows. This was due to her shikai's abilty to double the strength and speed of her lightning kidou so she could use a simple spell like byakurai and take out the hollow.
After this event she took five years off from duty to fully master her shikai. Ever since then she has spent many years with the kidou corps and is still a member [red]and recently, she has become the third seat of the kidou corps and also the assistant librarian of the grand library. Both of these have allowed her access to more information in order to further develop her kidou.
Another event also helped her further develop her kidou. During a battle her gigai was destroyed and so she went to Urahara Shouten for a new one and met the former kidou corps commander Tessai Tsukibashi. She recognised him immediately and asked for training, but he explained that he could not because kidou differed from shinigami to shinigami and that only by training by herself could she become more adept at kidou.
She now focuses on trying to develop her bankai and has managed to get her zanpakutoh spirit to physically manifest, but has not yet managed to activate her bankai fully.

As a member of the kidou corps her most basic duty was to open and close the senkaimon (spirit gates) between the real world and soul society. However, as a high ranking member of the kidou corps she did not have this duty as often. She spent this extra free time in order to further develop her kidou and also try to develop some new ones.
This was not a simple task to do, but it was possible with enough knowledge of kidou. She was sitting quietly on the outskirts of soul society focusing her reiatsu in order to try and develop a new kidou when she sensed a flare of reiatsu that was definately a hollow.
She smiled and shunpoed towards the source of the reiatsu. Hollow fighting was a perfect way to test kidou strength. There was multiple hollows, but all were pretty weak.
She smiled and launched byakurai at one of them and it broke into several pieces. The hollows came charging at her and she leapt into the air and shunpoed upwards before launching soren sokkatsui. The large explosion caused easily wiped out all, but the last hollow. THis one was only damaged.
"Looks like we've got a tough one here." she whispered and activated her shikai. A bolt of lightning hit her zanpakutoh, still sheathed, and it changed into a long sword with a black hilt with a silver cross guard and a yellow pommel stone at the end. "Senkouboruto." This launched a large cero like blast of golden energy at the enemy which completely destroyed it. She smiled as she resealed her zanpakutoh. "Swift as always."
