With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Footsteps echoed softly throughout the dark world between dimensions. Phantoms of the past followed their leader with awe. They had surely been dead, and now, they had been given a second chance.
All would be given a second chance, so long as they served him. Those that refused would be forced to. One way or another, all would serve him.
A fox faced man strode alongside his reborn god, his sadistic smile never wavering. He knew the carnage that awaited the groups arrival, and found it to be quite amusing. Just the thought of the Captain's faces was enough to get Gin's blood pumping in excitement.
"Gin." came Aizen's smooth drawl as they reached a stop, the gateway to their destination cracking open in front of them.
"I think it's time."
"Couldn't agree more Capn'!" the traitorous shinigami chirped from behind his mentor, clawing a hand over his head and summoning a white hollow mask, in the guise of a fox. Aizen himself drew a single hand over his face, spawning his own mask. It had the appearance of snake, the mask stretching behind his head and flattening to give the Vizard a more serpent like countenance.
Stepping through the gargantua, the two Vizard were followed by the recently resurrected dead of the Winter War. A war Aizen had let the shinigami win, so that Gin could continue the search for Jurei unimpeded. It was all oh so perfect.
Drawing said legendary blade, he glanced around the rukongai. He had come out in District 80, West. Exactly where he wanted to be. People lost their lives every day in the higher districts.
The people that had been standing about screamed as they saw the intruders enter through the gargantua, causing Gin to chuckle darkly from behind, his voice echoed by the hollow within.
Grinning below his mask, Aizen drew Jurei and swung it in a wide arc. Quickly hundreds, then thousands of bodies began to appear around the party.
If the recently resurrected soldiers had been stunned into silence before, now they were completely at a loss for words. Even Tousen couldn't find words.
"Destroy, everything." Aizen spoke calmly, his voice even more intimidating from the echo. The resurrected villagers let out a wild shriek, their bodies leaping out into the rukongai. The screams of the dying quickly began to fill the air, and fires soon sprang up all around.
After several long moments, Tousen managed to speak. "Captain, the shini-"
Aizen cut the blind swordsman off with a simple flare of reitsu, instantly shutting the ex-Captain's mouth.

It was an all out alert; black winged butterflies were sent out by the hundreds! Though reconnaissance had not yet been done, Rukia Kuchiki had ironically been closest to the event. The moment she was alerted, or rather, the moment she had heard the first expulsion of heavy spiritual pressure, she immediately began to flash step in that direction. Already, the raven haired Shinigami could hear the screams of those within the district, catching sight of the closing Gargantua. One hand laid on the hilt of her Zanpakuto, curious as to why an Arrancar would suddenly start invading Rukongai.
The Shinigami appeared... though the moment she had, she soon wished she had waited for back up. Her eyes went wide in pure shock and disbelief as the very people they had slain over the Winter War almost a year ago appeared before her very eyes.
"Im...Im... Impossible!" Rukia breathed out. Sweat appeared upon her brow as she noticed the familiar masks that seemed to express up on the features of those very people, and suddenly fell victim to the immense spiritual pressure. "This... reiatsu... there's... there's no way!"
"Rukia!"
The raven haired Shinigami instantly fell back, knowing that her strength alone wouldn't even be enough to keep the newly born Vizards distracted. The familiar voice of another woman who was also in a complete state of disbelief reached her ears, and within a fraction of a second, the pair of women stood several hundred meters away, surveying the area.
"How... is this possible?" Momo Hinamori asked the woman, who could do little than to stare at the Vizard mask-wearing Aizen, who commanded his troops to invade and destroy everything.
"I... don't know... but, we have to do something!"
Hell butterlies and the ability to sense reiastu had to be true. It almost always was. So, he was back. Couldn't say Kenpachi Zaraki wasn't surprised, but one could say that he had been itching for a fight.
Also, they had thought Aizen was dead, a fact that Zaraki had actually been quite dissapointed in. He had never fought the bastard.
Kenpachi Zaraki was the third on the scene, catching a glimpse as both Momo Hinamori and Rukia Kuchiki jumped into action.
"Dance, Sode no Shirayuki!"
"Snap, Tobiume!"
His eyes fell onto the Vizard, longing desperately to simply charge the man head on. However, that had to wait, with the undead flying about and murdering people, they had to be taken care of first.
"How the hell did he raise 'em anyways?" The tall captain growled, the sound of bells signifying that he had arrived.
Because of their unleash in reiastu, the two girls seemed to attracting more of the undead towards them; that, or there were just more undead rising up.
"This is ridiculous." Zaraki growled before jumping in between the two girls and the main swarm of undead. With a large flair of yellow reiastu, the large captain drew his nameless Zanpakuto and swung his weapon in a sideways arc, releasing a wave of yellow reiastu and cutting a good number of the undead down.
"Where the hell is everyone?" Zaraki called over his shoulder.
---------------------------
"Consume, Zen Mao." A voice whispered.
His weapon changed almost immediately, reforming and attaching itself to his arm. Blades extended from his knuckles and his weapon was formed.
With speed and precision, Kamair Arcanaz applied a paralysis poison to his armguard. By his analysis, it one simply killed these undead, they could simply arise again.
However, if one numbs the nerve ending and cuts off motor skills...
"A Thousand Apologies."
He opened fire, bringing down a couple of the undead while darting from shadow to shadow, hopefully, it would work. He had applied his longest lasting poison, afterall.
Abra was resting in a tree in a random spot in the forest. His eyes were closed as the winds gently caressed his young, teenage face. The light from the sun shines brightly through the leaves, allowing the scattered light to dance across his face and black robe. His black hair settles gently over his eyes when the winds fold in the presence of crushing spiritual energy, but Abra was asleep and not phased by it; however, his Zanpakuto was.
"Hey! Abra, wake up!" The voice from inside the scabbard commands in a rushed tone. "I know you're asleep, but you have to feel that! Abra!" Within the Zanpakuto, Shinigami-sama stood tall and slender with his black cloak billowing at his feet like smoke. He stares into the mirror atop the multi-stepped pedestal and peers into it; looking into Abra's thoughts.
A perverted smile was plastered across the Shinigami's face as he laid back on a bed of pillows with giggling skirt-wearing schoolgirls as far as the eye can see. "Oh king Abra, you're just so deviant!" One of them says very seductively in his ear.
"Well sometimes I just can't help myself around such sexy women." The perverted Shinigami repeats with a dirty smirk.
"Oh king Abra, you're just so cool."
"Ahahahaha!!!"
Shinigami-sama's blank eye-socket twitches in annoyance, and then he closes them before sighing out a small mushroom-shaped cloud. Suddenly the mirror, along with Abra's body, begins to glow a teal color.
Abra blinks, then feels himself being pulled away from the bed of pillows against his will. "What the...? Hey! No! Stop! Not net, I was just about to get to the best part!!!"
Abra was shot out of the mirror like a small cannon and he skids across the sky-painted floor on his butt. "Well now that you are done with that little dream..."
"What'd you go and do that for! I swear to god you're so fucking annoying! Why in the hell would you drag a guy away from a dre-" (Shinigami Death-Chop) His rant is cut short by a giant bone hand exploding onto his head, smashing his face into the floor. A foot attempts to twitch to life while a wafting line of steam rises from Abra's head.
"I think you should wake up. Don't you, Abra? I know you can feel that spiritual pressure."
Abra groans and sits up, rubbing the spot where the steam was rising from. He then gives Shinigami-sama a sideways leer before responding. "Whatever's going on is none of my business. There are plenty of high-level Shinigami in the area that can take care of this. I'll just chill here and get back to my dream.
A boned hand rolls out from beneath Shinigami-sama's cloak and Abra's eyes fill with terror as it looms over his head full of black hair. "Okay! Okay! I'll wake up!"
"Good. Now then, off with you."
"Pfft." Abra blows sharply through his teeth and then stands to his feet before tightening the tie on his robe. "I'll wake up, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna go fight and get myself killed."
After stating this, the Shinigami slowly begins to break down and fade out of existance while Shinigami-sama watched him. "You say that now, Abra... You say that now."
Abra's eyes slowly open and he stares into the treetops, then sighs out heavily through his nose before the intense spiritual pressure begins to overtake his conscious. He sits up on the branch and puts a hand on the side of his head before groaning. "Great, now it's giving me a headache... What the hell is going on now?"

A garganta appeared near Aizen's and for a select few, it would be deja-vu as they saw Halibel inside it with Apache, Mila Rose, and Sun Sun behind her almost exactly as when they arrived at the battle of Fake Karakura.
"Tcheh!" Apache spat angrily as the Garganta closed behind her, and the rest, "Where's that fat titted bitch? It's rematch time!" A wicked sneer crossed her lips, then she paused, "No offense, Halibel-sama..." she chuckled.
SMACK! Mila Rose whapped the hell out of Apache's head with an open hand.
"BITCH!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!!" Apache yelled loudly at Mila as she took an angry pose, and near flailed her arms with rage.
Mila frowned at Apache, "Shut up! Don't insult Halibel-sama by comparing their breasts! Halibel-sama's are far superior!"
That seemed to shut Apache up.
Sun Sun sighed, "And it's not like we lost to that woman last time... Really, stop being so barbaric..." said the woman as she quickly fell back into her admonishing ways.
That made Apache, and Mila smirk proudly until they realized Sun Sun insulted them.
Halibel dared to smile behind her well covered face as she heard the familiar noises of her Fraccion arguing, and she did nothing to stop them from squabbling for a moment, but eventually she interrupted them, "Ladies, save the energy for our task at hand," she said in her usual, calm tone that hid the delight in her heart that took the place of that hollow hole.
Halibel very nearly sold her soul to Aizen to get them back. After all, she rejoined his army, didn't she? After spending so much time in Karakura, she felt so... peaceful... but war drums called, and irresistible incentive came.
Still, she did not run into combat. She may have a debt to Aizen, but her mannerisms did not change. With her arms crossed under her magnificent breasts, she cast her gaze over the carnage as it rapidly spread. Seeing it occur as it had, she felt she could bide her time.
Because of this, her Fraccion merely frowned a bit, and did as Halibel did... at least until they saw what they -really- wanted...
Response was immediate among some of the Shinigami.
Soifon began to mobilize her squad, and place them in teams. Once done, she ordered them to move, and fight in teams with her usual 'Do it or DIE' tone, then mobilized her teams to catch up with her.
She arrived on the scene rapidly without fear. She had to perform damage control here. She threw herself into the Melee and started to attack the foot soldiers of Aizen's ranks mercilessly.
Yumeji recognized enough urgency in the matter to not be a lazy bitch, and she, too mobilized orderly with her squad. Her team arrived and she went into combat , and went into shikai. She began using her impressive speed to start painting foes with her sword, then cutting them.
Eiko aided some with Squad 4's management and took up a team of field medics, and they arrived soon after and began healing any wounded.
Lilly was sitting around the Outskirts of Rukongai siiting in the forest. When she felt two reiatsu's that were close, she began to walk over. She arrived and saw that she was late there were various bodies on the ground, various squads and squad members were all fighting. She drew her zanpakuto and began her attack against the people, there attacks were weak but still left a mark. As she slashed down more she began to notice something.
"What the, i've seen this face before."
She pondered this for a second until her face showed true dread. S he had figured out where she had seen the face. It was a man who lived in Rukongai. She looked at the other attackers, they were all people of Rukongai. Shinigami were supposed to protect souls, but how can they do that if they can't even save the people of Rukongai?
As soon as the garganta opened the shinigami known to all , at least all who did not want to piss her off by uisng her full name, as Seki had used shunpo to get over there as fast as she could. She could not believe what she was seeing. She was sure she had been told all these people had been destroyed. Why where they back? To finish what they started Said the voice of Ekishou the spirit of her zanpakutoh. Seki sighed and drew her zanpakutoh.
"Turn their hearts to Ice, Ekishou."
Her zanpakutoh barely changed. The hilt which had originally been icy blue became silver and the silver blade became icy blue. A crystal formed near the tip of the blade and the diamond shaped hilt change to a pale blue eight pointed star whose tips pointed towards the tip of the blade. She began to shunpo around the battle decapitating undead and freezing others with the ability Aisusen, which launched a beam from each of the points of the star towards the crystal which focused them into a large beam 2ft in diamter with a 30ft range.
Aoide Satom third seat of Squad 10 had escaped her duties for the afternoon. In fact she had found a perfect hiding spot in the forest. Cheerfully, she picked a few wildflowers, a lily here, a daisy there, slowly twisting and tying them together until she made a pretty crown, which she promptly placed on her head. It was a nice break away from the office, even if she would be in trouble when she returned. That is until the song that was flowing around her peacefully suddenly began to crackle and screech. Aoide let out a gasp, her breath taken from her as she fell forward trying to block the sound from her senses. What...what had come into being.
As she composed herself, putting the proper blocks on the song around her to allow herself to function a lone Hell Buttery fluttered out of the sky and landed on her finger. Aoide's eyes widened as she was given the messge of an invasion. Aoide got to her feet, taking one last look around her private santuary she took off first running through the forest before jumping into the branches and making her way through the forest that way.
Granted, she was fast, but even as she arrived on the scene where the dischord was located already other Shinigami had beat her to the fight. Not that there wasn't enough to go around as Aoide gazed, shocked at the scene before her of hundred of decaying bodies fighting against the Shinigami. She grinned, hjer smile pointed and dangerous as she spirited forward, dust flying up in the wake of her footsteps, her thumb clicking her blade out of its sheath. Her other hand grabbed the hilt of her blade, pulling it from it's sheath as she slided through several zombies as she ran past. She spun around, satisfied that she was in the middle of a large group of Zombies, her feet coming to a halt. As the dust cleared, Aoide's blade blurred as she cut into the zombies. As they closed in on her, Aoide grinned even more, even as one clawed at her shoulder.
"Sing, Yobirin Masurao," she spoke her voice instantly getting lost into her blade, as well as everything nearby her going silent. Her Resitu flared up, a light yellow aura. Then around her the area exploded with a sonic boom, cleaning out a large circle around her, and yet the undead continued to move forward. Undaunted Aoide rushed forward, disappearing and reappearing near the undead and slicing into them.
[Well everyone else is releasing, why the hell not?]
Yukino was within Soul Society. It was a calm, boring day. The Sun casted rays of lights oto the buildings and houses of Rukongai and Soul Society. Yukino was inside her dorm, meditating. It was a while since she was in the spirit world with her zanpakutou. Setsugekka, a tall and prideful bird was face to face. What was this? Stsugekka felt it, and so did Yukino. Yukino started to fade away from the her Spiritual World when a unseated member of the 2nd division barged into her dorm.
'' Yukino-fukataichou, theres been a disturbance in the 80th district of Rukongai, Aizen is back!'' He shouted in disbelief. Yukio wasnt surprised, a person with such power wouldn't die due to the enmies zanpakutou. No it would take alot more than that. '' Im aware, prepare your team for combat. '' Yukino responded in an emotionless tone. Yukino wasn't afraid of death, or the power Aizen possesed. She had died once, and she could die many more times. Life or lives are a journey anyways.
Yukino left, placing her zanpakutou in its case and caught up with Soifon-taichou. '' It's the spiritual energy of Aizen.'' Yukino told Soifon. Obviously she knew, but Yukino felt like if she said it out loud the reality would hit her. When she reached the 80th district she saw the madness taking place, and of course she saw the three rebels. Aizen, Gin, and Tousen. Yukino knew that they wouldn't waste time with her, they obviously wanted the jackpot. So she onstead started to kill off the lesser enemies.
The number was dominating, a simple zanpakutou wouldn't take care of them. It would, but that would take for ever and Yukino didn't have any time to spare. Shimiru, Setsugekka. [Freeze over, Setsugekka]. Yukino whispered as she jungeled her bells and clouds started to form in the battle area. From the clouds fell snowflakes and eventually hail. Yukino jingeled her bells once again making about 20 enemies in tha area beileve they were trapped in the 6 bars of light bakudo.
The started to struggle, but they weren't go anywhere. ''Nadare No Ikkatsu.'' Yukino whispered as an enormous amount of spiritual energy and ice flew at all twenty men. Within 15 seconds the ice continued to spread on there bodies. The ones who werent already dead from the brutal attack were suffering, and about to die. ''Soifon-Taichou, we need to protect the safer and more lawful districts.'' Yukino said. Truth be told Yukino was baught up in a horrible district, district 78 to be exact It was one of the worst, and she didnt mind to see it be destroyed. The lower districts on the other hand had value to them and were more important then the higher ones. Nobody wanted to say it, but it was true.
Hikaru had felt the sudden increase in reitsu before the alarm had even gone off. What startled him wasn't necessarily the incredible power behind it, but who was wielding it. He allowed a moment of shocked horror to set in, before leaping up from his desk. Pieces of paper scattered everywhere as the 9th Division's Captain made a mad rush for the door.
His division members began to assemble in the courtyard, and he knew that despite all their vigor, they wouldn't be near fast enough to organize in time. Finding his Lieutenants reitsu amidst the chaos, he shouted.
"Hisagi, get them ready!" without waiting for the mans response he vanished in a flash of shunpo. He pushed his speed to its absolute limits, working hard to reach the rukongai in time. His parents lived in the lower districts, but he could already see the sprawling destruction making its way down.
Cursing under his breath, he flashed from rooftop to rooftop, before he was suddenly tackled down onto the hard packed dirt road. Rolling into a crouch, he drew his zanpakutou and lashed out, just in time to cut a ghoulish creature in two.
The beast screeched as it was cut in two, the upper body falling forward and still attempting to crawl towards the downed Captain. Hikaru's face was feared with shock and horror. He felt a trickle of something work its way into his heart. Fear. Complete and utter fear.
Being a kidou master, he studied all sorts of books. One of the books in his collection that sat in a shelve in his office, was a book of Soul Society Legends. If he hadn't seen the emaciated form of his long dead father attempt to kill him, he wouldn't have believed that Jurei had been found.
Suddenly his instincts kicked in, and a warm radiance filled him. Almost unwillingly, his left hand shot out, and his mouth spoke the words of a kidou spell.
"Hadou 33, Shakkaho!" the red fireball engulfed the undead form of his father and turned it to ash. Breathing heavily from the shaky encounter, Hikaru stood from the dirt, and looked up just in time to watch Captain Soi Fon and her division flash their way towards the one thing none of them were equipped to handle.
Grunting with exertion, Hikaru managed to catch up to the Captain. Normally they would have been at odds, the aloof 9th Division Captain offering her flirtatious comments, whilst she rejected him with no mercy. But this was no time for playing around, and Hikaru was all business.
"Captain Soi Fon, tell your division to handle the undead, I need your help." came his deadly calm voice over the din of explosions and shunpo.
His sapphire eyes turned to hers with pleading to understand. Silently pleading for her to put aside pride and listen to him.
Aizen smiled warmly as he watched Rukia and Momo prepare their assaults. Slowly lifting his mask from his face, he showed his old subordinate the warm fatherly smile he had used all too often to disarm the feeble minded shinigami of Seretei.
"Come Momo, there's always a place for you at my side." his golden eyes stared at the Lieutenant with love, his smile promising her safety and security for eternity.
Even when several nameless shinigami jumped at him from the roofs, his eyes never left hers. With a sweep of his hand, a silver arc left the blade, wrapped around the two shinigami, and quickly un-aged them back to their base components.
