With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Soifon frowned at Yukino, "I'm aware of who's Reiatsu that is," she said harshly, yet despite the familiarity, something felt off... She didn't like it. Not one bit.
She came across Hikaru, and she paused long enough to hear what he had to say. She sneered at him as he made demands of her. She wanted to punch him in the face as he deemed himself better able to run her squad than herself... But that look in his eyes as he spoke was pathetic... She gave in.
"Yukino! You're in charge of directing Squad 2's tactics! Focus on crowd control!" she shouted at her, then blasted away a lunging ghoul that decided to attack her. It was Yukino's time to shine. She wasn't social, she hadn't set up any squad activities, she hadn't done much on her own initiative, so this was her time to shine, and show her VC abilities.
Her attention went to Hikaru, "What's your plan?" her tone carried venom in it. She still sounded like she wanted to punch him in his face, but she was more willing to listen.
She focused on defending their position long enough to hear his plan.
Yumeji was busy fending off ghouls, and chopped them down with masterful, quick strikes that cleaved them down faster then the shambling bastards could ever hope to move. She had no idea what was going on. She just wanted to get this over with so she could go find someone pretty to admire, and none of these ghouls could count as that to her dismay. She didn't bother going Bankai, or even Shikai. These people didn't seem to be able to withstand her masterful assaults.
Eiko fought off a ghoul, and saw lesser squad members being taken down. She wasn't given the luxury to slack, it seemed... "Baby, it's my nature to sting!" she performed the transformation to Shikai as her tail like zanpakuto became more of an actual tail. She began darting through the masses of ghouls, and pegged them with small metal darts shot from the tail as it whipped about, and dosed the fodder with a poison that sapped at their strength. They didn't seem to care that the poison was there, but it'd make battling them easier.
She made her way to an injured Shinigami, then began to use healing Kido with her hands, and applied a dose of healing balm as her tail gave her cover as it threw debilitating attacks at the ghouls, and occasionally made a shield to ward off a stray blast that, luckily, hadn't gotten too close thanks to the wide spread chaos.
A new Reiatsu appeared... one that countered the dread of Aizen's, and possible even his right hand men... Like a flood of water from a dam torn away.
A warm, comforting Reiatsu.
Unohana Restu has arrived!
Her troops were behind her, and they moved like they were a god sent Calvary with a refined elegance that matched Unohana's own. Beautiful, yet frightening at the same time. They brought a great deal of order as they systematically battled Aizen's fodder with squad tactics based off the defensive styles Unohana used in the past.
The Kill ratio of Aizen's troops dropped drastically, but they were still above 0 which vexed her a bit.
She found an advantageous position that allowed her to view the majority of the field, and, of course Aizen. It's from there that she director her forces with a strong military genius, but it seemed that Aizen's forces were too thick to simply beat back.
If it wasn't for the stalemate that started to form between her squad, and the ghouls in the areas they inhabited, one might've wondered if she actually prepared for this battle ahead of time.
She didn't seem to want to talk to Aizen just yet with her focus on handling her own forces, and reducing casualties.
Behind Unohana was another man clad in a Captain's haori. His face was weary and handsome, his eyes a tainted golden color, his long, dark hair trailed down below his waist, his expression was cold and emotionless. Behind the man was at least a hundred men, all of them were from the same squad as the man who stood in front of them, 13, Led by Captain Karel Kensai.
Karel's golden gaze scanned the chaos that presented itself before him, and old friend that had been reincarnated once again, that's what this sight was. Hoards of frail corpse like civilians filled the battlefield, they're behavior was feral in uncoordinated. Karel's expressionless face broke into a slight, psychotic grin as the smell of blood greeted him. He spoke to his squad members in a cold, harsh tone, not even bothering to turn around and face them. "This isn't a Tea Party, stay out of my way or I will kill you." He then vanished, reappearing in the middle of the swarm of undead.
He dashed through the swarm, his movement were quick, precise, and possible even beautiful, despite his insane behavior. His movements were a blur, his image briefly showing between the masses of undead as he darted around the battlefield. Wherever he went, arcs of blood rose into the sky, falling down with a loud pitter patter, similar to the sound of rain. The battlefield slowly began to become covered with pools of blood.
The air tore open behind Aizen's resureccted army, a small garganta appeared. A lone woman stepped out from the garganta. Her hair was a bright shade of blue and her skin was pale as ice. Her gaze was cold and calm but only partially revealed, as her left eye was covered by her hair. She quickly glanced towards Aizen-sama and Ichimaru-sama, she was relieved to find that her old creator was now alive and well. She would have to fight twice as hard to prove her worth now. Lucia spotted the back of someone who was all to familiar. She quickened her pace as she walked over towards the woman who she had garnered a deep amount of admiration for. "Halibel-sama" she said in a friendly and somewhat quiet voice. She was always this way when she was around this woman. "I'm glad to see that you've come back, Its a pleasure to see you again." Lucia noticed the three women surrounding Halibel after she had finished speaking. She wasn't sure what to say to them, as she wasn't even sure of who they were. Lucia waited quietly for either Halibel to introduce them or for them to take notice of her and speak up themselves.
Ikkaku dashed into the battlefield. It was raining blood. Ikkaku grinned. He made a waving gesture to Aoide and Kenpachi. Kenpachi seemed a bit bored for a fight. Ikkaku gripped his zanpakuto. Sweat ran down his hand and onto the ground. His hand clenched the sword tightly. A seemingly endless army of undead was walking toward Ikkaku. Ikkaku slowly slid his sword out of it's sheath. It shined as he pointed it at the undead group. He slid his left hand onto his side and took his sheath out as if it was a weapon. He had an offensive fighting posistion. His sword pointed forward as his sheath was pointed to the right in a offensive gaurd posistion. He had run here at top speed. His legs felt crushed. He had learned to ignore the pain years ago however. He had been talking to Yumichika at the eleventh division barracks. When he was alerted he ran as fast as he could in hopes of a good fight. Yumichika was somewhere behind him.
"Extend, Houzukimaru," The undead was the perfect opponent. They could not die no matter how many times you cut them up. They made their way to Ikkaku and wathced as he smashed the sheath and zanpakuto together. A gust of wind engulfed the two weapons. It spiraled out of control and Ikkaku now held a spear. The red tassel danced in the wind. Everyone else was releasing, so he would as well. He spun his spear before pointing it at the first undead. One single blow split it's head in half. Ikkaku grinned as he continued to slash and cut the creatures. The blood poured onto his shinigami outfit. He licked his lips tasting the rotten blood. He spat at the ground. It tasted nothing like fresh shinigami blood. He sighed as he cut a head from a body of an undead. They were weak and he was looking for a good fight.
"Hey Captain. You want me to help you out?" Ikkaku joked, looking at the towering captain. The fight raged on.

>>"Come Momo, there's always a place for you at my side."<<
Momo's eyes were locked upon Aizen ever since he had appeared, that strange mask hovering over his features forcing the Lieutenant to feel a familiar sense of fear that she hadn't felt ever since that war so long ago. Her body froze up as he directed himself toward her, unconsciously stiffening and taking a cautious step back.
"I.... I..." Momo couldn't find the confidence she had when she, Toshiro, and Ichigo had finished the man off that winter. Even with Rukia beside her, who currently had her own hands full, most likely a squad of undead creatures to distract her while he had Momo all to himself.
"Sōren Kouenno Sōkatsui!"
A dark cobalt blue blast of spiritual energy came crashing down between the two, angled more toward Aizen. Though the blast would most likely not even phase the man, it would be enough to ensure the brunette that she wasn't alone.
"K-Kyra-chan!"
Coming down from above came the crimson haired Shinigami, her robes a bit torn up due to the quick path she had to take to get to her current position. With her twin Zanpakuto tightly grasped in Bankai, and her aura flaring about, she glared daggers toward the smiling Aizen.
"Don't worry, Momo," Kyra spoke softly without looking to her Lieutenant. "You're not alone..."
With a rather cocky smirk, Kyra loosened her grip on a single sword and lifted her hand toward her face. With only her index finger extended only, she licked the tip, then brought her hand up toward her forehead, and drew what appeared to be a heart over her face. During that process, however, her own Vizard Mask began to materialize, showing for the first time that she could now summon her Inner Hollow's ability without that persona taking full control. Her pupils nearly faded as the whites in her eyes went from white to black in an instant. Her reiatsu flared up as she allowed her Inner Hollow to awaken while still being in full control.
"K-Kyra," Momo blinked, having not seen the woman since she had first found out she had become a Vizard. "You're... able to control it?"
"Heh," Kyra smirked behind the mask, her voice doubled over with her Inner Hollows more... flirtatious tone. "She's a bit of a pain in the ass to work with, but we managed somehow..."
With that, the Vizard turned to face her former Lieutenant. Though she hadn't become a seated officer when he had defected from Soul Society, she had, at the time, been somewhat good friends with Momo. It had been due to her mental distress that she had moved up in rank, and had spent far more time with Momo.
"Ara, ara," Kyra called out to Aizen with a rather flirtatious tone in her voice. It seemed even her accent changed a bit. "Look who crawled out from the gates of Hell. That mask... should I call you Aizen-okama now?"
"Kyra... be careful," Momo argued the woman's taunt. "His spiritual pressure... it's-"
"Yea, I know," Kyra only continued to grin. "Far superior..."
It was her Inner Hollow that seemed to feel extreme excitement that fueled those words of hers. To fight someone far superior to herself... it was that damned masochist side of her that made her heart race, her adrenaline rush, and an orgasmic sensation to flare within her body.
"Well... talk'n ain't do'n shit, right?" Kyra arched her head a bit, then held her blades out to her side. She let go of both hilts, then cross her arms over her chest. The blades then began to slowly spiral around her body by form of telekinesis, and with the flamed aura surrounding both swords, the faster they began to spin, the more it appeared as though a fiery blue shield surrounded the Vizard. With a quick throw of her right hand, one sword curved outward a few meters. "Kouenno Sōkatsui!"
The blade slashed in the air and launched a powerful dark blue blast of spiritual energy outward, aiming straight for Aizen and the tag team duo behind him...
"Tsugi no mai, Hakuren!" A blast of white energy expelled from the tip of Rukia's Zanpakuto and shot outward, freezing any and everything in its path. She and Captain Kenpachi had been drawn away from Momo for the moment, but felt another spiritual pressure there to make certain Aizen wouldn't try to coax the Lieutenant into anything. The Captain and she had been backed to back for a while, the tall man easily tearing apart the demons in one fail swing with a rather bored expression on his face. It was obvious he just wanted to plow through these demons and head straight back up to Aizen.
The dark haired Shinigami spotted a familiar blond Espada, one who had gotten her by surprise a few weeks back.* Those dark hues squinted as her brows lowered. With a quick flash step, Rukia appeared on the ground below the woman who was far above her. The woman then swung her sword as the ground below her started to shimmer a bright whitish blue hue.
"Some no mai, Tsukishiro!" And with the dance called, Rukia flash stepped out of the way as the entire ground froze over and hastily rose up in a freezing pillar, aiming to freeze the former Third Espada where she stood, hopefully, unaware of the attack's approach!
*This occured during the Mini-Plot SL, which time line wise, ends roughly three weeks before this storyline.
Walking out of one of the immense Gargantas - a little pink haired girl in her flowing white robe-like dress with black trim and black wakizashi held in her left hand. Her unblinking blood red eyes drifted over to the loud Fraccion of Halibel, screaming some sort of business about getting revenge before getting smacked by one of the other Fraccion. Vaaz's eyes simply drifted back to the unfolding seen of numerous citizens of Seireitei's Rukongai being laid to waste.
A figure of composure as the nobleman walked on the air itself to the Rokungai districts, mobilizing his Division with the numerous others now on the move. With a calm stride across the sky to meet what had emerged from the Gargantas that split open above the Rokungai. Byakuya's serene, piercing dark blue eyes remained focused on those who stepped out to of the shadowy maws.
Darting through the Seireitei trailing right behind her Captain to aid in eliminating the countless, nameless rabble of Aizen's minions unleashed to raid the grand city. The girl did not hold back an ounce in utilizing her destructive Kidou abilities to bring down one after another, while breaking their limbs and cracking their skulls with her Hakuda abilities. She moved as swiftly as she could from target to the next to work as much crowd control as her ability allowed her to accomplish.
Daigoro looked up from his work as he felt the familiar Reiatsu in the air. AIZEN! Daigoro grimaced, and sighed. The fourth seat of the second division stood up and yawned. That was when he noticed the second type of reiatsu. This one was strange... One he had not felt for about 80 years. He sighed. Time to go to work... He left the room, looked over to the reiatsu and began to flash-step there. A couple of minutes later, and Daigoro found himself in Rukongai.
His suspicions were right. He shook his head. No cutting here... They will simply get up again. But if I cut the bonds holding them alive... Ok... Daigoro raised his zanpakuto up. No Bankai yet... I don't need a full seal here... He then proceeded to flick it down by his side. "Shaapu, Kiba Ookami..." Daigoro's zanpakuto extended to a total of two feet, with a blast of reiatsu.
He then held his right arm up beside him. The familiar white reiatsu began to crackle down his arm, and into his tattoo. His eyes slowly grew darker, and his hair, paler. He grinned. The tattoo glowed, cracked, smashed. "SEAL RELEASE!" The tribal tattoos worked their way up his right arm, and to his torso. As the last tattoo made its way up towards his eye, his reiatsu increased in strength, massively. "Let's GO!"
Daigoro ran along the rooftop, and began to chant. "Put immense power beneath my feet, send all to oblivion with one shot! Hado number 14! Kaminari Ashi!" Daigoro brought his hand along the blade of his zanpakuto, making it glow white-and-red. He grinned and landed in the centre of a group of undead. "Energy Slicer!" Daigoro swung in a circle, slicing the undead in half that were circling him. Then he flash-stepped, releasing the Hado on his eneimes and creating a shockwave, sending pieces of undead flying. On to the next ones...
As he and the petite Shinigami were drawn away from the source of all the trouble, Kenpachi cursed rather loudly. Why was he stuck fighting these pathetic footsoldiers when he wanted to destroy Aizen himself?
Damn it, damn it all!
Growling, the tall captain cleaved an undead into halves, cutting through its form with little effort. He hated this, it was boring him, and he wanted a real fight! A damn real fight!
"Some no mai, Tsukishiro!"
"...Eh?" He turned to look at his ally, who had apparently run off. Great, so even she had a fight on her hands now?
Growling, he watching as an undead jumped into the air, hurling himself towards him. He scowled and caught it's face with his left hand, before crushing it's skull his the strenght of his fingers. Blood oozed down his apendages as a result, causing him to smirk, rather slightly.
"This isn't any fun..." He growled, before turning to look at Rukia again, who was facing off with an Espada.
He growled, before letting his wild reiastu burst from his figure, knocking the undead surrounding him back a couple feet. Then, without care for Rukia's stand point, he launched himself into the air, swing madly at the Espada after the pillar of ice broke apart.
---------------------
Bodies continued to drop about him, but they seemed to be neverending. Kamair mentally cursed before jumping into the air, landing on a rooftop and running along them, he wouldn't be able to take them all on his own. If he tried that, he would just be overtaken.
Grunting, the lowly Shinigami leaved an undead's head off before spinning and searching for his captain among the chaos.
Hikaru turned and stared into Soi Fon's depths. His crystal blue eyes conveyed the utmost urgency, and even showed a trickle of fear.
"The legend of Mokushi. Two blades, one of life and the other death. Jurei, the sword of life, is the only zanpakutou in recorded history that can do this." he waved his arm at the destruction ensuing all around them.
"If Aizen has that sword, it's going to take every single Captain we have to at least force his retreat." He turned his gaze away and made ready to spring back into the action.
"Your division is safer handling the ghouls." and with that he vanished in shunpo, hoping that the 2nd Division Captain would heed his advice and follow him.
The splash from the blast washed over Aizen with no effect but a disinterested cocking of the eyebrow. He watched the display as the shinigami pulled a hollow mask over her face and attacked with a confident smirk.
Without even moving, a silver barrier sprung up between him and the attack. Although instead of just absorbing it, it broke the kidou down into its most base and primal components, reformed those into a ball of its own, and fired it back at the Vizard with ten times its original power.

Halibel's attention went to Lucia as she arrived, but Lucia's vision of Halibel was soon blocked by the quick tempered Apache spoke up first, "Oiy, what're you doing here? Halibel make you her fraccion while we were gone?" She huffed out angrily like a bull.
Apache glared at Lucia, and got in her face, "Dumbass, where the hell have you been to know know who we are? Or were we gone that damn long? I'm Apache," she said as she stared at her then pointed at Mila, "That's Mila-Rose," then she pointed at Sun Sun, "that's Sun Sun! Got it?!" she huffed at Lucia. "We're Halibel's Fraccion! So, who are you to be talking to Halibel-sama like that?!" she said angrily.
Halibel's attention was put towards the Arrancar that had met for the first time, and she may, or may not have been aware of the mechanics of Rukia's ability as an Ice pillar shot towards her, and the heavens above. It was her Fraccion that saved her from another chilly greeting from the Shinigami.
"Halibel-sama!" Mila roared, then managed to snap her out of the distraction long enough for Halibel to move, and see her reflection on the column of ice, and there she saw the reflection of Kenpachi flying at her. She darted to the side, "Cero!" she spoke as she slashed her sword at him which sent a broad red blast at him, hoping to slow him down.
"Yooooou BIIIIIIITCH!" Apache roared at Rukia as she saw the source of the attack, then grinned wildly as she fired a bala into the ice column, then Mila Rose followed it up with a hit to the balla impact with a violent punch and she let it fall on Rukia, Kenpachi, and anyone, and anything near them.
"Tch! No one raises a hand to Halibel-sama!" Mila said with an arrogant smirk as she watched the tower of Ice crash down, then laughed as it wold likely smash miles of the Rukongai. She didn't know it'd probably disappear soon.
"Barbaric..." Sun Sun sighed as she watched the display of brute power, but she didn't complain much more as she watched the results, then looked at Lucia, "This is not the time to get to know each other, I'm afraid..." she said calmly as she covered her face with he sleeve as she waited for an opportunistic time to strike. Likely in the aftermath of the falling tower.
"Don't look at me like that!" Soifon said to Hikaru, disgusted at his fear, regardless of how rational it was. Was she scared? She'd never show it. She was an assassin, so items of power were known to her since they killed, and could, in time, make her job easier, but she had faith in her own Zanpakuto... Speaking of, "Jinteki Shakusetsu, Suzumebachi," she prepared for her killing strikes. The reason she had faith in her Zanpakuto.
With that, she followed Hikaru regardless of how she felt about the rookie.
Yumeji continued her diligent assaults on the ghouls, and even went Bankai to help get this dredge work over with. She began blasting the b'jeezus out of the zombies. Luckily the bastards were so slow her sword strikes easily intercepted them. Problem was, she needed to maintain the stamina! She used her cero like scabbard shots to clear out clusters of them, then leapt into the group, and slashed down any that survived, then continued along to the next one.
Eiko continued supporting the defense as she pegged a ghoul here, and there, and healed who ever needed it with her kido. She knew she was in over her head, but she put the dire situation aside, and focused on her job, and it helped the fear go away as she shrank her perceptions of the world so she could focus on herself, and what she had to do.
Unohana continued to conduct Squad 1 from her vantage point, and started to create a pocket of safety where she hoped Squad 4 could take the wounded. Unohana wished she had the manpower to spread the bubble across all of this district but she knew better than to overextend her forces.
Lucia was startled by the sudden, rather aggressive greeting from the short haired girl with the horn on her head and the red eyeliner. She wasted no time calling her out, harshly questioning her and then introducing herself and her companions. "So your Halibel-sama's fraccion?" Lucia wondered aloud as she looked at each of them. "Pleased to meet you, I'm happy that you were able to be reunited with your friends Halibel-sama" she muttered quietly. Though she was really happy for this, as now Halibel would be happier, she was a bit afraid that this would mean that she wouldn't be able to spend time with Halibel anymore.
Her thoughts were soon interrupted by the sudden attacks of two Shinigami. One was a young petite female, whom she had seen Halibel fight before, the other appeared to be a large monstrous man, who's acted like a wild beast. The second those two attacked Halibel, her fraccion had jumped right into action, immediately countering the approaching assailants, holding them off to protect the former tercera Espada. "I have to do something to" Lucia thought tho herself, maybe if she helped they'd accept her a bit more.
Lucia turned her attention towards Rukia, who was currently preoccupied with the attacks of Halibels Fraccion. She inhaled deeply as she gathered moisture in the air. As soon as she had breathed in as much as she could, she exhaled. Her breathe was as cold as ice and chilled the air around her, the amount of freezing air she exhaled seemed to be much more than she had actually inhaled. The ground and air around Rukia began to freeze over in a thin sheet of ice. The portion of the battlefield they were fighting on was now a snow covered landscape. As soon as the ground froze over, Lucia pointed her finger at Rukia, reietsu began to build at the tip. "Cero" she whispered. Instead of the massive blast that one would expect, a smaller, much more concentrated blast shot straight towards the shinigami's head. This was Lucia's unique sniper cero, a less powerful, much more precise cero that traveled as fast as a bala. Lucia's plan was that the shinigami wouldn't be able to move because her feet would be encased in ice, making it much harder to dodge this lethal attack.
