With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Always a fan of making a fashionably late entrance, Grimmjow figured it was time to join the party. Flanked by one of his two Fraccion, Arja seemed more interested in her nails than the battle going on. Glancing to his other subordinate, Lucia appeared to be gunning for a spot in Halibel’s group of minions. “Women.” He snarled under his breath. The Espada was starting to think that the opposite sex had only two purposes. Footstools and clawing out the eyes of their enemies.
Casually shoving his hands in his pockets, he continued to observe the Shinigami. Violent, rude and sadistic were certainly traits that described Grimmjow. Butcher of lambs, however, he was not. It certainly wasn’t because he had a soft heart and didn’t want to hurt the weak. He simply saw it as a waste of his time.
“Make an attempt to pay attention.” He stated in a firm tone to Arja.
A massive wave of reiatsu suddenly radiated from Grimmjow was all the announcement he needed to give. His clothing fluttered from the force of the spirit pressure being emitted allowing his re-inked tattoo to be shown. Long gone was the ‘6.’ In its place now, the Primera Espada, bore the strongest number of ‘1.’

as genji was going over to the high amount of reaitsu he saw a quite large yellow aura so he was worried so he started to rush over but then he was ambushed by a small amount of undead as they all charged into him
" WHOA!!! what the hell this is getting alot better i finally get to fight this is awsome i soo need to show those captains over there that all they have to do is call for help heh heh heh i doubt they will though hahah "
as genji hit the ground with the undead falling on him as well he jumps back out of the pack he takes out his zanpukato him really happy about being able to fight he may have been late which made him feel guilty but that was leaving him when th fact that the undead were coming at him with rather large force and speed but that didn't worry him at all he wanted stronger enemies like maybe one of the four but they seemed to be busy now genji starting to pay more attention to the battle at hand
genji in his fighting stance as the indead came to him he had counted about four so then genji knew he would be alright as the first was attacking him he noticed that they were rather hard hitting then what they look like he fended it off then slashed clean in half then the others came to attack genji he had notcied another thing that it looked like the four was commanding them somehow and as the others came at genji it had left worried about but then the two undead facing him charged into him forcing him back making him annoyed
" son of a bitch you guys or ......girls ummmm ahh you are all pissing me off i can't be borthered with you two so i should just blitz you now watch your step "
as genji forced them back and slid his fingers down his zanpakuto blade making claws appear on his left hand and his blade becoming a two handed broad sword as genji slashes down then across threw both of the undead attackers killing them as genji recovers from his attack his he starts to move then shunpoes toward the battle raging close to him he stopped on his way there as he sees a portal opening as the arrancar goes through it
" hmm another one i really wanted to fight those lovely woman over there but i guess i should fight this guy and those woman seem to be in a rather big fight heh heh heh and i have always wnated to test my ability on a arrancar's skin to see if it would work "
as he saw the arrancar release and the five vines came out of his right arm whiping other people as genji started to shunpo after his shunpo one of the vines was coming at genji he managed to block it with his sword as it was leaving genji using his left hand he grbed it ang dug the claws into in so he could be brought back to the arrancar as the vine lifted again genji was ready for action
Hikaru's eyes opened slowly, the sounds of battle raging all around dull to his ears. He felt hands grab him by the shoulders, and pull him up. He grunted in pain and attempted to fight back against whomever was attempting to man handle him, but he felt so tired. So weak. Coughing up more blood, he slumped forward, the 9th Division Captain giving in to whatever had come to claim his life.
Luckily for him, several 4th Division medics had made it to the scene, and were busy evacuating the wounded.
Passing into unconsciousness as the two medics headed back towards the field hospital at shunpo speed, Hikaru could only hope that everyone else had made it out alive.
Smiling in appreciation of his work, Aizen turned his back to the fray. His demonstration had been completed flawlessly, and now it was time to leave the shinigami with a parting gift.
"Time to leave."
Aizen's hollowficated voice rang out across the battlefield, seemingly amplified by some unknown power. With a flick of Jurei, and a bright white flash, one final ghost of the past appeared.
Yammamoto materialized next to Aizen, his eyes wide and vacant, zanpakutou clutched tightly in his hand.
"Destroy everything."
The ghostly old man nodded, as though he hadn't really heard Aizen's command.
"Hm, well looks like its 'bout tha' time." Gin chirped, his head cocking to the side, Ruby eyes staring at Ai. His trademarked grin spreading farther across his face.
"I'll getcha' lata!" and with that the sadistic ex-Captain vanished, appearing next to Aizen and following him through the Garganta.
As soon as Sosuke Aizen left the field, the recently resurrected Captain Yammamoto, flared up his shikai, slamming the firey blade into the earth. Gradually the ground began to heat, spouts of flame shooting from the ground and high into the sky.
Several unlucky shinigami happened to have these flame geysers open beneath them, killing them instantly.
Flames created a protective barrier around the old Captain, allowing him to perform Aizen's sinister task with impunity. After several minutes of tearing the ground around the outer districts asunder, the flame barrier flashed brightly. Brighter than the sun.
A massive roiling explosion engulfed the entire outer Rukongai, and even extended to the middle sections. Fire spread out along the borders of the other sectors. Eventually bathing all four of the Rukongai in flame. What wasn't devoured by the initial explosion was quickly blown to pieces by the shock wave from the nuclear blast.
Several area's of the Seki-seki walls were cracked or blown inwards, crushing several buildings. The gate itself had been blown apart, a line of fire cutting a swath three hundred yards long into the Seretei.
The entire Rukongai had been obliterated, as well as any Shinigami or Soul caught outside the walls of Seretei.

Halibel watched with narrowed eyes as Kenpachi charged her like a bull, and her own spiritual pressure flared yellow as she used one hand to block his attack with her sword. She grunted as he forced her to move with the violence of his strike even with her skill at handling powerful sword blows. She answered his momentum with a leap that allowed her to be pushed back on her terms. She regained her stance as she hovered
Like Kenpachi she seemed to favor a one handed style even as her sword easily accommodated more than one hand.
"I have fought with Captain Hitsugaya in the past, yes," she replied in a calm fashion.
He charged at her like a wild man, and resumed his assault on her. Her skillful swordsmanship allowed her to prevent tests of strength that, she had to admit, was formidable, even against her. "Unlike most, I do not care for ranks. I care for my subordinates," Halibel said to him calmly and only gave him that as an answer. She wasn't interested in speaking of defeats. This man likely didn't care, so she needn't waste words. She simply allowed her own Reiatsu to flare a matching yellow, and allowed her sword to fill with energy so she could passively attack him with ribbons of energy as she defended against his infinitely aggressive style. Unfortunately, those energy ribbons weren't her best assault, but she had little choice as he barely allowed time for a counter attack. This, however, did not mean that he had the advantage in the battle. For now, she remained on a heavy defensive, and studied him for weaknesses.
Then Aizen's order came. There was no time... "Flee, Shinigami, you won't survive what's coming, and I intend to survive to settle matters... Cero." she fired a Cero through her sword to help push Kenpachi away before she began her retreat.
"Ladies!" she called out to her Fraccion, "we're retreating. Score will be settled later."
Elsewhere, her Fraccion had their own problems. Namely a large of people ganging up on them in a series of powerful attacks. Luckily the 3 Fraccion had backup, as they noticed the ice assault on the Senbonzakura, and they took advantage of it where they parted the particulate assaults of Byakuya, and Matsumoto with a powerful combined blast, then they zipped rapidly through the gap. Their assaults are powerful, and combined they're potent, but the combined 4 managed to overpower them.
"Damnit! People can't talk in peace, huh?!" Apache shouted angrily at Byakuya. She huffed angrily through mad breaths.
"Oiy, Apache! Milk Jugs is here!" Mila Rose said in hopes of taking some of Apache's stress out as she pointed he sword at Matsumoto.
"Shut up, Mila! Mood's all fucked up!" she shouted angrily at her. She was quite frustrated at all these bastards launching assaults on them.
"Focus, please... We have enemies..." Sun Sun chastised, and managed to get them to be aware of the enemies. "Lucia," Sun Sun said calmly, "We seem to be a hot spot for attention, so why don't you aid us in dispersing these threats?" she said as she readied her Zanpakuto from her sleeve.
Mila, and Apache drew their own Zanpakuto. "This sucks! We've got too much attention!" Apache grunted, "Th'Fuck did we do to piss these people off so much?"
Sun Sun sighed, "The Ice tower, the assault, we've done much, but nothing direct," she sounded annoyed in general.
Mila simply readied in silence aware of the danger ahead of them. Apache turned, though, and shouted, "WE'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME MILK JUGS!! YA HEAR ME?!!" she then move to catch up.
But they all were forced to pause as they heard their Mistress speak, "Ladies, we're retreating. Scores will be settled later."
Grumbling, they turned, and flew towards the exit point. They left with Halibel.
(Halibel, and her Canon Fraccion have left the field.)
Soifon felt the blood on her.. she wasn't using her blade... she turned to look as she roundhoused the relatives away thanks to this family reunion form hell, and saw Karel butchering the corpses, "IDIOT!" she shouted, then threw a violent punch at his face! She held back only because they'd need his strength as a captain to help turn the tides, "Go use your ability elsewhere! This is my-" she judo flipped a relative to the ground, " battle!"
"If you DARE touch one of my relatives again, I'll destroy you!" she growled at him.
Then Aizen slapped the Soul Society in the face as he raised Yamamoto, "Damn you Aizen!" she said low, then stopped holding back. She used her Shikai on her relative's bodies, and dissolved them in moments, "Forgive me. Find peace."Better her hands then another's. Her advanced speed allowed her to litterally take care of them in a moment.
She hurried to Hikaru, then grabbed him, and flung his body into a fireman's carry. She began to evacuate and likely saved his life for some reason. She sounded the retreat for her unit along the way, and soon black streaks raced on as Squad 2 members appeared heading for the exit.
Yumeji, on the ground, was one of the first to notice the firey badness, and she moved quickly to get out. On the way, she passed Eiko who looked at her.
Yumeji blinked, fled the area.
Unohana called out, and projected her voice, "All Gotei 13 forces, and their allies are to retreat immediately!" She said seriously, then repeated "I Repeat! All Gotei 13 forces and allies are to retreat immediately!" And she retreated with her squad behind her. (All my Shinigami have left the field as have Kyra who was saved along the way. Hope I didn't miss anyone. )

Well, she was good, he had to admit that. She seemed to parry and dodge his attacks with somewhat of an ease, which seemed to be a pretty good thing, this was a match that he could definitely enjoy.
But it was not to be.
"Flee, Shinigami, you won't survive what's coming, and I intend to survive to settle matters... Cero."
His one seeing eye opened with shock, that flame, that reiatsu, could it be? Though he was not good with sensing spiritual pressure, this presence was so intense that even he could not miss it.
"Old man Yam..." He muttered before the Cero hit him, knocking him back a good several feet before he overcame it's energy. He scowled at the Espada. "N' I thought I would enjoy this. Well... we'll finish this some other time... Halibel."
Without another glance at the former Espada, he about-faced and darted away faster than the eye could see. On his way, he saw his ego-pumped subordinate try to single-handedly take on another Espada, how stupid.
"C'mon." He growled at Beck before grabbing him by the back of the collar, with every intention of dragging him away from the scene. He was moving at breakneck speeds, the flames behind him getting closer and closer. He sheathed his blade and saw Aoide as well, catching up with her and wrapping his free arm around her waist.
"Ya can buy me sake later." He growled at her before reaching incomprehensible speeds, it was unlike anything anyone had seen. Forcefully, the man empowered his legs with his reiatsu, pushing them faster then ever before.
As he neared Seretei's walls he grunted and threw Beck and Aoide forward, putting them into the walls of the Fortress and into safety. His own form was caught in the fire for a brief moment, but he was able to get into the walls before the fire completely turned him to ashes.
When he emerged from the flames, the 11th division captain was badly burnt, the top half of his clothes having been completely incinerated, and third degree burns covering his entire body.
"Damnit." Was the only word he was able to get out before he collapsed in front of Aoide and Beck, clearly unconscious.
-------------------------------------
"What's this?!" The Arrancar laughed, seeing a weak Shinigami challenge him. Apparently, the Shinigami was grappling about the place to attempt to get nearer to the Arrancar. "I'm sorry, but... you're not my type."
Hefting his trident off of his shoulder with one arm, the Arrancar connected blades with the Shinigami and pushed him back with apparent ease, throwing him back to the ground.
"Shinigami." He spat, somewhat unnamused. "You all think that you're so tough, and that you can challenge someone that years above your skill level. It's pathetic really."
"Allow me to introduce myself." The Arrancar said gleefully, his vines splaying about, showing no real intention to attack the man. "I am Xiin Rinthra. The 9th Espada... Challenging me was a mistake... the last mistake you'll ever make."
"The Lust for Blood, Arise and Devour Me!"
In that instant, the Espada released his blade, his trident disappearing from his hand completely. It was a gruesome sight as his body seemed to break out into bark, covering him and growing with his body.
He had reached his state of resurreccion, growing to multiply his size by five times and becoming a massive ent-like creature. The Espada gave a ground trembling cry before he turned his attention back to the pathetic Shinigami.
"Now, you die. Shinigami."
"Vines, pour fourth!" He roared. Without warning, twenty vines shot along his arm, shooting out and contricting the lone Shinigami, immobilizing him completely.
Now that he had the Shinigami at his mercy, he was going to enjoy this, biding his time and watching the fool die. However, his fun was cut short by an overbearing reaistu. It would seem as if he was out of time.
"Awww... too bad I can't play."
[/b] His loud voice sounded. "Well, I guess I'll just leave you here to die then."
"Roots, Disable the Hopeless!"
The Espada rooted a single foot to the ground, allowing his roots to burrow through the ground at amazing speeds. It was only a matter of seconds before the roots emerged from the ground, wrapping about the Shinigami and rooting him to the spot. "Goodbye, Shinigami." [/b]He cackled. "We will never meet again."
With that, the Arrancar opened up a portal and stepped through it, turning back to see the lone Shinigami get caught in the swelling flames.
With a cackle, the portal closed, and the Espada was gone.
----------------------------
"That was a close one." The lowly Shinigami thought. "Had I been any slower, I would have been toast."
There he stood, standing on top of the walls of Seretei. Kamair's Zanpakuto had been resealed and now sat in its sheath. "I hope taichou made it out alright."
Wait, what was he thinking? This was Soifon he was talking about, of course she would make it. He was silly for even thinking that. He sighed, what a way to lose a ton of lives, and now Aizen was back.
To be honest, all the progress in the war that they had thought they had made had all but vanished in an instant.[/blockquote]
"No doubt you will...", Ai replied to Gin before he vanished, as she said, she did not doubt him one little bit. Recognizing the trouble she may gotten herself into with her new allegiance with that move, though it was the last thing she could do for the only one she really begun to care for since the death of her sister and disinheritance of her family - all she had left until meeting and befriending Kyra, was mourning.
The moment Yamamoto's soul was summoned, it was clear what Aizen planned to do manipulating the old man's soul. Agreeing with Gin's earlier words, she uttered softly, "Yeah, it does...", she flashed stepped away looking over her shoulder to watch the destruction of Seireitei's outer-districts. Though it was not its inhabitants she cared about - they were immaterial to her, it was more so only Kyra she hoped got out alive.
"Yamamoto...!", gasped Sayuri with wide eyes of dismay upon seeing him, and with Aizen's order, she was left further horror, "Captain!", she yelled out to Soifon attempting to alert her of the new immense danger, whether or not Soifon perceived what was going on or not as she fought her own family, but she wanted to be certain her Captain was aware. The little kunoichi picked up Kyra under her shoulders as she looked to Eiko, "Eiko-sama!We have to leave - now!", she looked to where Momo had fallen, but saw Shinigami carrying her off to 4th Division in the distance under Renji's command. With that Sayuri took off with Yumeji and Eiko as they carried her off to safety.
Even Byakuya's eyes widened a bit in reaction to the transpiring event of the destruction that was about to occur, and without wasting a moment he receded the pedals of his bankai back into his swords sealed form in his right hand and sheathed it. He side-glanced to his sister as he was about to retreat, but seeing her exhaustion, as he turned his back the Arrancar his left arm hooked around Rukia and he carried her off. With his great mastery of Shunpou he carried them both to the safety of Seireitei's walls.
"Hmm... It's time...", muttered Vaaz taking notice of what is soon to transpire as she vanished from only to shimmer back into view less than a second later with immense speed - the static like sound bursting with each movement revealing her using Sonido - dodging Beck's assaults at her. Eventually coming to a sudden stop and saying to him with a smile, "The more you exclaim you are not weak... the more you tell your opponent that you are.", she then looked to Halibel and her Fraccion, as well as Lucia idly mentioning, "Halibel-sama, honored Fraccion of Halibel's, Lucia-sama, I think it's time for us to leave.", she bowed her head to the Primera respectfully, then blurred from sight - leaving the scene altogether.
As Renji sensed and saw Yamamoto become summoned he did the only thing he could do to save his squad. "Everybody back to Seireitei." he yelled. He saw a kidou corps squad member and a member of his old squad, the sixth, still fighting. He shunpoed over to them. "Get out of here." he stated and then shunpoed away heading back towards Seireitei. He only just made it. Aizen would pay for this as would all of his minions, summoning Yamamoto was just plain wrong.
As she heard Renji one of the captain's state this Ikazuchi saw Yamamoto. She formed enkosen at the tip of her zanpakutoh and held it over her shoulder to reduce damage should she be caught in the blaze. However, she too shunpoed away and managed to just clear the walls before the flames consumed her.
Seki heard Renji and saw Yamamoto. She needed no second bidding. She had heard of the power of the former captain commander and fled as fast as her shunpo would carry her. She launched an ice beam over her shoulder attempting to prevent the assault despite knowing it would not work at all. She managed to clear the walls barely and sat panting deeply. SHe had never used shunpo at such high speeds before.
(Renji, Seki and Ikazuchi have left the battlefield)
It’s amazing how such a simple phrase can squash a person’s almost giddy mood like a bug. The Primera shot Aizen a sour glance upon hearing the words. Perhaps next time he’d make a point of showing up a bit earlier.
“Tch!” Grimmjow snorted in disgust as a frustrated hand ran through his artfully messy hair. Nodding to Vaaz, the Espada turned his attention to his Fraccion. “Lucia. Arja. Let’s go.”
The horned woman standing beside him whined, “That’s it!?” Arja pouted as she twirled a strand of hair around her finger. “I was hoping to play with that redhead a little.” She said looking toward Renji. Tossing her hands in defeat, the Arrancar promptly followed Grimmjow’s lead in exiting the area before being turned to a crisp.
Lucia nodded her head as Sun-Sun asked her to aid them in dispersing the various opponents who had appeared to fight them. She began to charge a cero, ready to shoot toward Byakuya and Rukia when she heard Halibel's order of retreat. "Hai, Halibel-sama". Lucia spotted her master, Grimmjow and his other fraccio in the distance, but by the look on his face, he didn't care where she went, he never cared about what happened to her. Lucia turned away from the direction of the Primera Espada, following closely behind Halibel, Sun-sun, Apache, and Mila-Rose.
"What?! It's already over!?" Lillynette yelled in disbelief and frustration as Aizen and the others left. "Why didn't you do anything?! You wasted your time just standing there, you see! This is the reason your not the Primera anymore, you never actually fight anyone with that power of yours!" she screamed as she kicked Starrk in the shin repeatedly. "Ouch, ouch!" Starrk cried out in response. "We've only been here for a few minutes, and besides, you were busy pummeling me that whole time, I couldn't have done anything if I wanted to." the man replied in a deadpan drawl. "We would have been here longer if you didn't sleep the whole damn time!" the shorter arrancar yelled as they both walked through the garganta, her angry yelling was cut off when the garganta closed.
Karel hardly reacted to Soi-fon's sudden outburst. Though he was caught by surprise when she delivered a sharp punch to his face, he did not cry out in pain, nor did his expression change. How ironic, the only person to have ever hit him that day was another Shinigami. Karel was just about to reply to her comment about his attack on her when he felt a massive form of reietsu wash over them. He turned quickly to witness the resurrection of the former Captain-Commander. Karel almost felt up to the task of fighting him despite their gaps in power level, that was until, he noticed the build in reishi around the old man. Without thinking another moment about it, Karel vanished, shunpo'ing away just as Soi-fon dealt with the rest of her family. He dashed through the ruins of Rukongai, his shunpo mastery was very advanced, even for a Captain.
Karel vanished in one area just to reappear in another, as he shunpo'd closer and closer to the gate. Suddenly he stopped as he smelt the scent of blood. He heard a faint sound, similar to breathing close by. Maybe it was a lone arrancar or a wounded shinigami? No there was no significant source of reietsu anywhere nearby. The massive inferno was far off, but was coming closer every second. Though it would make much more sense too continue to retreat, Karel decided to investigate the noise, hoping that perhaps someone powerful was hiding nearby, concealing their power. After all, those who were not strong would not survive in this blood soaked battlefield that used to be Rukongai. Karel waled up to a seemingly abandoned house. If it was broken down before, it looked much worse now that there was a gaping whole in the side of it, a large portion of wall and roof was missing from the small, poorly built house. Karel entered the small shack, his golden eyes quickly scanning the piles of debris and wreckage that filled the building. As he had entered, the sounds of breathing became louder and sounded more strained than before. It was as Karel expected, whoever was hidden here, they weren't intentionally hiding, they were struggling with death. Karel turned around to exit the wreckage when he heard a faint whisper. "Shinigami....taichou?".
Karel turned around to find a small girl, perhaps 9 or 10 in age, lying under a fallen support beam. Her face was pale and she was lying in a pool of blood leaking from the hole where the wood had pierced her body. The girl reached out her hand as if she was trying to grab the man's white Captain's hoari, which was just out of reach. The blood thirsty man know as Soul Society's infamous "Sword Demon" stared coldy into her nearly blank eyes, tear stains streaked her dirty, bloody, pale face. Her arm suddenly fell limp to the ground, and her eyes faded as the light left them. Karel looked around, noting the mutilated corpses that were scattered across the floor. It could be assumed that her family was slaughtered in the attack, and she barely escaped their fate as the building came crashing down on her, causing her assailants to flee. The roars of the fire could be heard close by, the heat itself filled the air, making it seem as if he was standing in an oven. Karel kicked the support beam and other large broken objects off of the girl's petite body, just as the flimsy wooden house caught fire from the heat. The inferno hadn't even reached them yet and already the place was set aflame. The infamous sword demon then did something unexpected. He lifted the child's limp body off of the bloody floor and tossed her over his shoulder. He then vanished just as the roof collapsed. Karel shunpo'd even faster than before, only appearing briefly as he landed upon a rooftop every now an again. Surely enough, the inferno had completely consumed the area of Rukongai he was just in. Karel went as fast as he possibly could as he saw the last of the Gotei ground forces retreating into the giant gate, which was still open at the moment. He shunpo'd ahead of a few shinigami as he appeared behind the gates, his pace didn't slow down even after he had passed. He continued to run with the child as the sound of the gate being blasted down, crushing the few shinigami who were unlucky, no, weak enough to be caught underneath it. Karel finally stopped when he was already a good ways into sereitei. He carefully leaned the girl's body against the wall of a building, just before he collapsed against the wall, leaning against it for support. He tore off his Captain's haori, which was tattered and burned. He had escaped with minor injuries, he would have been completely unscathed if he hadn't bothered with this child. He stared at the girl, his golden eyes were still as cold as ever, he showed no visible sympathy for the girl. Her breathing was very faint, perhaps on the verge of stopping completely. But she was alive. Karel looked neither relieved or displeased at this indication. He simply stood up firmly, and heaved the child onto his shoulders again. He looked off in the distance towards the 4th division area, and then he vanished once again, the sense of urgency was still embedded within him, even though his own life was no longer in danger of being ended.

The fire was huge. The shops and houses of rukongai along with the still living souls were burned within an instant of his release. Even though he was dead, the power he had was still as mighty as before. There was no way Yukino, Hikaru, or Matsumoto would be able to with stand the power of him. A pure burst of spiritual energy would knock all of them out. Hikaru's eyes grew, as she felt the heat rapidly move towards her. Rangiku was this close to finally fighting the threesome. Yukino on the other hand was glad, she didn't feel like fighting ghouls the entire day.
Using Matsumoto's shikai she covered herself in the thousands of shattered blades, protecting her from the fire, although it didn't do much. Rangiku the started to flash step away, the fire was ganging up on her but the ash protected her from dying. Matsumoto flash stepped onto the trees that were still remaining. She was starting to escape the deadly fire. Matsumoto like most shinigami turned her head, moving her ash to see the destruction. As she looked, a burst of fire flew onto Matsumoto causing 3rd degree burns on her body. Like the say Beauty would never last. The ash quickly surrounded her and she escaped.
Luckily the 4th division medical center would be able to heal her, and some coconut oil from the real world would get rid of thoose nasty scars. All would be good, eventually. But in Soul Society time flied like hell buterflies.
Hikaru used her Guqin hybrid to block herself from first burst of fire, which was the strongest. "Gotta go." She told Yukino disappointed a noticing that she would have nothing to block herself. "Ekosen." She said as she truend back to the fire, blocking it. The sheild was weak but it would wear out by the time she got back to her division HQ. The fire was obviously stronger than a simply level 30 bakudo, but it would have to do. Her shikai turned into a normal zanpakutou as she fled the battlefield. However her speed couldn't beat the flames of the former captain commander. She was burned, her back mostly but it would be enuogh to kill her.
Hikaru fell to ground as the flames went over her like an ocean. As the fire died down Hikaru got into her zanpakutou spirit world. She entered the temple, there her zanpakutou spirit was, meditating. "Hikaru. You've disaapointed me. However my will shall let you live." Hikaru nodded with a frown apon her face. Back in Soul Society she lied down and her eyes let up in a blue color. She managed to survive, but barely. She got up, the flames were gone but Rukongai was burned to a crisp. Everything was black, and coupleof things were still on fire but other than theat everything was inactive. Hkaru took her zanpakutou to support herself, and limped her way to the 4th division medical center.
Yukino saw the flames coming. She wasn't surprised, but shivered at the thaught that this was only his shiaki just imagine what his bankai would be. Spiritual energy went to her feet and she jumped high into the sky were the flames would fail to touch her. She her legs were burned by the seemingly undying fire, but other than that she was fine. Yukino was in the 2nd division, so she was able to think quickly in a high pressure situation. Considering that it was Captain Commander level power he released Yukino did really good.
Being as stubburn as she was Yukino didn't even go to the fourth division medical center, instead she flash stepped back to the 2nd division to do paperwork on what had just happened. The fire burned her skin pretty badly, and any other shinigami wouldn't be able to take the pain. But pain was only a word to Yukino, she was able to cancel out anything using her brain.
