With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Halibel nodded to Lucia, "Nice meeting you," she said in her relaxed, yet serious tone. "It sounds like you're bored," Halibel diagnosed readily after hearing the girl's plight. It wasn't uncommon. As far as she could tell only she, Stark, and maybe Nnoitra cared to keep their Fraccion happy.
"Are you Fraccion to anyone?" she asked with a hint of curiosity, not that it mattered. She might hear a new name, but she questioned if anyone had the sort of compassion for their subordinates that she had.
She would go as far as to wager that the Arrancar were in a sorry state of existence, but she didn't have the power to change that... did she?
Bored? That was a funny way of putting it, but actually somewhat true. "I suppose I am the fraccio of the Primera Espada Grimmjow, but since I was assigned to him, I haven't even met him personally." she explained. This was also a bit painful for Lucia, it was difficult to serve the one that you pledged your life to when you haven't even met them. Lucia seemed a bit sad for a moment, but quickly realized she was letting her emotions show, and tried to change the subject.
"What about you miss Halibel, didn't you have fraccio? Are you still in contact with them?" Lucia asked curiously. She imagined it would be very difficult as a fraccio, to continue on when your master vanished without a trace.

"Hn, I'd apply for a transfer if things don't work out," Halibel said frankly. Grimmjow wasn't one to have any sort of bond with his Fraccion. They were all guys, so maybe that was the problem? But he has a girl now so it says even more about him. Was she really missing anything being out of the loop as far as the Espada went?
"Well, perhaps we can find something to do in Karakura Town," she stated more than asked even though she knew the possibility that she might be poisoning the girl's mind with thoughts that Karakura wasn't so bad, and didn't need to be blasted.
It was arguable if there was much for people in their position to do in Karakura what with the fact no one could see them, and they couldn't be heard, by and large, but she was sure something would be figured out.
She heard Lucia's last question, and it apparently had an affect on Halibel as her gaze went downward, perhaps showing some sadness, "I lost my Fraccion in the battle over Fake Karakura... I haven't found any more, so I'm not in touch with my Fraccion..." she said quietly.

"Oh" Lucia exclaimed with surprise. She was startled to see Halibel-sama's demeanor change with the question she had asked. "I-I'm sorry, it was out of place for me to ask such a question, but I'm sorry for your loss." she stuttered a bit. She felt ashamed to have given Halibel a reason to feel sorrowful. "It must be terrible to be alone" she said quietly. Lucia felt simular to Halibel in that sense.
"Well If its ok with you, I would happily accompany you around town" Lucia replied quickly, trying to take Miss Halibel's mind off of her fraccion and her sorrow. "What do you have in mind Miss Halibel?" Lucia asked the woman, trying to smile to cheer Halibel up. Lucia had nearly forgotten about all the human walking around them.

"You didn't likely know," she said in her usual direct manner, still looking a bit bummed out over the subject. It was a sadness Ulquiorra could've been proud of with his gloomy self, but Halibel hid most of it. "Your sympathy is appreciated," she added, certain that this young Arrancar who still had something of a heart left would likely be only one of a handful that could feel such a thing. Grimmjow certainly couldn't, she figured.
"Being alone is a difficult thing, especially when you've had a family for so long," she lowered her guard a bit around Lucia. "I would appreciate your company. It seems more pleasant than most other Arrancar," she complimented, she figured.
She thought about things, unsure of what they could do, "We could sneak into a movie theater..." she said in a way that was completely serious, but it sounded like a joke. Who would stop them, though, if they did? Shinigami were likely above bouncing at a movie theater.
Lucia blushed slightly when Halibel metioned that she was pleasant company. "Thank you" Lucia replied. "You too are better than most arrancar I meet" she said, trying to compliment Halibel-sama
Lucia's interest was peaked when Halibel mentioned going to a movie theater. "I would love to see movie" she said in a calm voice, yet it was obvious she was curious. "I don't think I ever saw a film when I was alive, though I don't remember too much of my life." Lucia lived during World War II for most of her life, and lived in finland which was engulfed in war, so she hadn't experienced such things as film and radio. "I wonder what kind of movies humans watch?" Lucia wondered aloud/

"You wouldn't likely remember your life before your current state anyhow," She began to walk out of the Karaoke bar with Lucia with that bit of harsh reality. Halibel certainly did not remember her life. As far as she knew her life started when Aizen made her.
"I've never seen a movie," she said calmly, and straight to the point. Aizen didn't exactly build in a movie theater when he made Las Noches, and she wasn't laying low very long. When she was, she chased ghosts, so to speak.
Already she felt the weight of loneliness lift off her shoulders with this girl. In another time, and place, she may have insisted she would be her Fraccion, but it was likely too late now. She wondered if the rest of the Arrancar would crush the heart out of her, or not if she stayed among them, too long.
She walked down the street casually, and avoided bumping into too many people, not that the streets of Karakura were ever busy. "Looking for a mood of movie in particular?" Halibel asked Lucia as they traveled. She did seem to be more of an expert than Halibel on the matter.
"I'm not sure" Lucia replied as they approached the movie theater. "But if you would like, I could find one for us.". She quickly walked over to the movie poster ads outside of the theater. Most of them seemed a bit ridiculous, Lucia wondered why humans would make these sort of films in the first place. In the end, there were only a few that looked like they would be any good.
Lucia ran back over to Halibel after going around a group of humans. "There are a few that look interesting" Lucia stated as she stopped in front of the former espada. "There is one about human war, one about human love, and another about human murder." Lucia listed off the few interesting films she saw. She remembered them by theme rather by name. "Do any of those sound interesting to you Miss Halibel?"

"Human culture is still a mystery to me, largely. I'm sure any one of them would be equally informative," Halibel said calmly as she looked over the posters from farther away than Lucia got. "I'm interested in what it is you like, Lucia," Halibel added calmly. She couldn't help but be curious about most any Arrancar that didn't mindlessly kill all the time, and could actually appreciate things aside from the power to make corpses. This one seemed to be capable of so much more.
She, too found some of the movies strange. A giant lizard attacking Tokyo? No doubt hollow inspired, hm? Talking rodents that solved a mystery? Strange... Halibel took note of the posters Lucia mentioned. She wasn't sure she could grasp any of it as her world was so very different from the Humans. Only a few common emotions could link them, even as she walked among them.
Lucia paused for a moment, thinking about the three films and what Halibel said. She tried to decide what film would be best. "I think since so many of the movies revolve around the murderous intent and senseless killing of humans, the one about love seems interesting because it shows something about humans I've never seen." she tried to explain to the woman. "I know I'm an arrancar, but I don't really enjoy killing, yet I don't hesitate to kill when I am told to. Is that wrong?."
As they walked into the theater, Lucia stared at the poster for the WWII movie. The picture featured several men storming what looked like a ruined city, corpses were lying everywhere in the snow. The human carried guns and seemed to be positioned in a way that was supposed to heroic. She wasn't sure why, but something about the poster really bothered her. Lucia quickly snapped back into reality, she had just realized how long she was staring at the picture. "I'm sorry Miss Halibel, I must have blanked out for some reason." she stuttered. "Let's continue to the movie showing" she stated as she began walking toward the screening for the Romantic Comedy film.
