With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Halibel walked after Lucia calmly, liking her answer to the question. If she did not already know the answer, she'd wonder why she were Grimmjow's fraccion. "It's not wrong. Enjoying death will weigh on you heavily in time. Following orders are a necessity, however."
She noticed Lucia pause, and she paused as well, and watched her react to a poster of human violence. She knew nothing of the scene. She barely comprehended the weapons they carried.
And then Lucia snapped out of it.
She nodded as she decided to press on, then followed her into the screening room to watch with her.
Halibel couldn't help but feel a little attached to the young girl.
People noticed the doors open, and close on their own, but were baffled about the reasons.
Lucia found a pair of empty seats in the back of the theater. Nobody would see any motion here. As she sat down and the movie trailers the preluded the actual film began to play, Lucia noticed hos odd this really was. Here she was, an arrancar, sitting at the movie theaters in the human world with a legendary Espada who was supposed to be M.I.A.. As silly as it seemed, she felt strangely complete. Halibel was the first person who ever gave a damn about her, the only person who accepted her. She began to wonder what would happen after this day. Would she still be able to see Halibel-sama? Or would they leave each other forever? Lucia didn't want to think about such things, she tried her best to enjoy the moment while it lasted.
"It was such a shame that Halibel was no longer part of the Espada." she thought to herself "I would have loved to serve under her"

Halibel calmly watched the previews as they came on, and went off lasting only a minute, or so.
She was more interested in Lucia at the moment despite the fact her attention seemed to be straight ahead on the screen. Even while she sat, her casual stance wasn't abandoned. Her arms were crossed underneath her breasts where they offered support for them.
Halibel, too, wondered what she would do about meeting Lucia again, and what it was she had planned once this meeting was over, but she did not ask yet. In her long time spent in life she learned to savor events, and her first movie was certainly an event to savor.
She was glad she did not have to go alone. In fact she probably would not have gone alone.
The movie progressed with some interest. There were some things that surprised her, some that she didn't understand, some moments she found dull, parts that she liked and parts that she hated. Overall, she felt that she enjoyed the film. The one thing that mad the movie so great was the fact she has someone to share it with. Several times, Lucia glanced over at Halibel, just to see how she was doing, or how she reacted to a certain scene. Every time, Halibel-sama's eyes reflected her usual calmness.
As the movie came to a close, the ending was simple and expected. All the conflicts were resolved and the lead male and female ended up confessing their love and pledging to marry, a ritual that Lucia couldn't comprehend at all. Just when she thought she was beginning to understand humans, they left her confused once again.
When the credits began to roll, Lucia turned over to face Halibel again, her expression was the same as always, serious and aloof. "What did you think of it, Miss Halibel?" Lucia asked, sounding just a bit cheerful.

Halibel thought on the question Lucia posed a moment, then spoke, "Horrifying, if that is the human bonding ritual," she said with a straight face, and straight tone. Halibel was serious, but her answer came out in a way that could be found funny.
She had no memory of going through something that awkward, and she were thankful for it. She didn't ask for much, but when she wanted something she was more direct in getting it.
"I find it hard to believe that humans lack the strength to not seek a more direct means to their goal," then again when Halibel wanted her Fraccion, she took them first somehow or another, some easier than others, -then- made nice with them.
She didn't mind sitting, and watching the credits. She understood that another movie might roll after this one, anyhow.
"And your impressions?" she turned her attention to Lucia as one of the staff of the theater walked the aisles with a flashlight to make sure there were no one inside trying to get a free movie viewing.
Of course the staff member ignored Halibel, and Lucia, even as he shined the flashlight right at them. He did seem a bit creeped out as he passed them, though.
Lucia smiled a bit at what Halibel said. It was definitely the truth. "I think that humans are just to odd for us to understand." she replied simply. "I also agree with your view Miss Halibel." she replied with a slight smile.
The credits rolled to and end and the lights came back on. The screen remained blank for a few seconds before going to the before movie fun facts. Though nothing about them seemed all to fun.
Lucia didn't want the day to end yet, she wasn't ready to have to go back to Las Noches, where everyone ignored her existence and never relied on her for anything, where she was useless. Lucia though for a moment, avoiding Halibel's gaze so that she wouldn't see the frantic looks in Lucia's eyes.
Then a splendid idea suddenly came to her. "Halibel-Sama, I want to take you somewhere now!" she said, a hint of excitement in her voice. "Please follow me" she said as she climbed out of her seat and headed out of the movie theater and out into the streets, her icy blue hair blew behind her as she paced through the wind.
Lucia eventually led Halibel to an empty table resting just outside an nearly vacant cafe. The table was small with two chairs and an umbrella attached to it to provide shade. Since most people were at work at this time, the cafe was empty, making it a very quiet and peaceful place. "Please wait a moment Miss Halibel, I will be right back." Lucia said as she showed Halibel her seat, and then with a smile, she hurried off out of site onto an area of shops down the street, her excitement was obvious.

"Very well," Halibel said calmly, then stood upright with her usual strong posture, then followed Lucia with ease, yet didn't seem to exert herself, possibly due to her long strides. She couldn't even pretend to know what this woman was going to do, or where she wanted to go, but she was certain it was nothing treacherous.
She was rather surprised to see that their destination was a cafe. She didn't mind the food of the mortal world at all, mind you, but, well, money was hard for her to come by, especially as she dropped her human friendly form.
And then she were asked to wait at the cafe which just puzzled her as she watched Lucia run off like an excited little girl. She wasn't used to such youth, and enthusiasm at all. The closest things to that were her Fraccion when they argued, and fought.
She pulled out a chair at the table she were lead to, then sat down casually. She didn't doubt that the trip was worth it at all, but she had no idea what the girl had on her mind.
She's so... playful. An unusual trait in their hard, hellish world.
Lucia sneaked around to the back of a bakery she had seen on her way to the karaoke club earlier. She happened to have visited this bakery several times before. The owner kept a lot of cakes that went unsold for a while in the back, usually to give away to friends or as samples. Lucia carefully opened the door and sneaked inside. Nobody was back here, that was good. Lucia began looking on the shelves at a assortment of cakes, pies, and pastries. All of them looked delicious, Lucia had a soft spot for human sweets, it may have been there greatest accomplishment. "Which one would Miss Halibel like?" Lucia wondered to herself, carefully looking at each dessert dish. She couldn't take to much or someone would notice. Before she had time to think it over, Lucia hear the door open and footsteps approaching. She quickly picked up a small ice cream cake and carried it out the door, all the confused human saw was the door shut.
Lucia sneaked around behind the shops, making her way to Halibel-sama. She was in a hurry, she didn't want to make her wait to long. She couldn't take the main street for obvious reason, people would surely notice a floating cake. Lucia sneaked through a few alleyways and came out from behind the empty cafe. Halibel was waiting there just as she way when Lucia left, with a calm and patient look.
"Thank you for waiting Miss Halibel" Lucia stated as she placed the ice cream cake on the center of the table. "Please try this" she said calmly, trying her best to retain her own excitement. Lucia peered around to make sure no one would see a cake slowly disappear. Luckily, the street that the cafe was on wasn't busy, and the cafe itself seemed to be closed. Their table was also partly concealed behind a large sign, so it would be safe to eat here. There was no need to fetch any spoons, as the table already had some on it. "Go ahead, Its really good" she said with a slight smile. Lucia herself would wait until Halibel tried some before she ate any herself.

Halibel was rather surprised being presented with a cake. Her eyes opened wide a bit as she looked at it, then she looked at Lucia, "Thank you," she said calmly, then took up a spoon. Of course she couldn't just start eating. She had many obstacles in her way. Well, two. One if you thought about it, and she did something about it. Her free hand went to the bottom of the front of her coat, then grasped a hidden zipper piece before she pulled it up towards her face.
With her jacket now open, and the 3 on her breasts, not to mention a lot of her breasts, exposed she opened the mouth of her hollow mask revealing her more human mouth.
It was then she began to dine daintily, unashamed that her top is open. The hollow plates kept her modest, so she had no reason to be.
It had been... well, she couldn't remember the last time she ate with anyone like this. She wasn't sure if she and her Fraccion ever had the chance. They certainly could not freely go to the human world.
She savored the cold, and the flavor of the cake quietly, and allowed the moment to go on without the burden of the knowledge that they had to split up eventually. It was a bonding experience that did a lot for her heart, and it needed not be tainted.
Lucia was was worried at first when she realized that Halibel had to go through so much just to eat. She though that Miss Halibel would just be annoyed with her, but to Lucia's relief, Halibel began to eat despite the trouble she had to go through. "She's such a patient woman, nothing ever seems to bother her" Lucia thought to herself, admiring that trait of Halibel's.
Lucia smiled as she watched Halibel eat the cake she brought her, it meant a lot to her that she could be open about such things without being scolded. Lucia expected most Arrancar to scold her for doing such things like this, even call it pointless. Lucia's attention was also caught my Halibel's mask remnant. It was very odd in shape, she had never seen one that covered the neck and chest like that. It looked a bit uncomfortable. Lucia unconsciously reached up and felt her own mask remnant that covered her left eye. She always covered her mask piece with her hair, Halibel didn't seem to mind revealing hers.
"Do you like Miss Halibel?" Lucia asked the woman as she reached for her own spoon and began to sample the cake. It tasted very sweet. Sweet things always made Lucia feel happy. Desserts were the greatest thing about the human world
