Fumaseki Makuro, huh? Azuki thought to herself. He seemed an interesting sort, amusing to observe. He even asked if she wanted to accompany him and the other guy, Takeme Sanmaru. The fog quickly obscured whatever sight she had before, but the sound of shunpo was unmistakable. A quick thought passed her mind: should she really follow him? To a bar nonetheless?
"What are you whining about? Just go," a throaty growl responded.
Geez. With that, Azuki began to shunpo after Makuro to the Dragon's Maw, wondering if Sanmaru will follow them through the fog.

"I'm afraid I'll have to pass," Sanmaru said, turning around and using shunpo to go the other way. When multiple people were involved, it just became awkward. He figured he'd pass on that.

(OOC: Yes, I know it's short, but this is because the lack of a posting order drives me insane.)

Makuro heard that one had followed and then another had left. It did not bother him. In fact, he was sort of glad. He had invited them both to be polite, but the twelth squad freaked him out a bit. They did a good job, but they were all so weird. He chuckled. He couldn't believe it. He had a canine captain and yet the 12th squad still freaked him out. What he was more glad of was that a woman had followed him. This morning might become more interesting. He landed outside the Dragon's maw and entered without waiting and sat at a table. He would order drinks and food from here. It was a bit more rowdier then he remembered, but he didn't come in here often because he wasn't a great drinker. He did like the atmosphere of the bars though.

She knew almost instantly that the other person would not follow them to the bar. Internally, she was grateful. He seemed a bit odd, and anyone from the 12th division sent chills down her spine. The other one from the 5th squad, though, appeared nice enough. His choice of bars was good, though. The Dragon's Maw, though a bar, usually wasn't as rowdy as other bars seen in other places. She didn't hold her liquor well, but loved watching the activity in bars. Once they arrived at the entrance, she stopped.
"So, what do they have for breakfast?" Azuki inquired.

(its 7th squad not 5th btw. I am the 5th seat of 7th squad)
Makuro shunpoed over to the bar and back. When he came back he was holding two breakfast menus and two drinks menus. It was rare for a bar to have menus, but this one was a kind of bar restaurant. "There is quite a lot, some of it is just regular bar food, but some of it is actual breakfast food." he looked through the menu and then called over to the bar. "1 cheese and bacon, a bottle of sake and a fried egg." He ordered. The man behind the bar nodded and called back to those working behind before carrying over a bottle of sake. Makuro handed over some money and then poured himself a glass. "Sake?" he asked.

(Sorry. I saw the two numbers and inverted them. I have a mild version of dyslexia.)
The 10th squader gladly took the menu. She never realized how hungry early morning training made her. Almost anything sounded appetizing at that moment. Azuki glanced through the menu, taking note that her companion ordered his food already. She stared for a moment, before realizing he had asked her something. Looking up, she immediately saw the sake.
"I would like a bit of sake," she replied quietly. Azuki knew that too much of the liquid would put her over the top. This would have caused her to get into large trouble with her captain -something she avoided. "Waiter," Azuki called out, "I would like a plate of pancakes with a side of bacon and a glass of milk."

Makuro poured a small amount of sake into a glass and slid it over to the 10th squadder. He heard her make her order and nodded. It was a good choice. "So what were you doing out so early?" he asked curiously.
He sat patiently waiting for an answer as he awaited his food. He took a small sip of sake. The liquid warmed him and also woke him up a bit. However, he still couldn't help yawning. He hoped that she wouldn't take this as a sign that he was bored.

A glass with a small amount of sake slid over towards her. Azuki nodded in satisfaction, as Makuro complimented her choice of food. Of course, she couldn't wait until her food came. Sweet things always made her feel better after a long morning. She took as sip of sake, which slid down her throat.
"I train every morning," Azuki simply replied. "Just to keep sharp, you know? And to have quality time with Kajikami." She motioned to her zanpakuto at the mention of its name.

"Quality time with your zanpakutoh is one of the first stages to achieve bankai." he said quoting from one of the books he read. "It helps strengthen the bond and that is critical." He indicated his own zanpakutoh. "I do mostly night patrols because myself and Suta-raito prefer the night." He sipped some sake and then the food was being carried across to them. It was placed on the table. He lifted his knife and began to slice the cheese and bacon panini and egg into smaller more edible pieces and then began to use his fork to eat it piece by piece. "Their food here is quite good."

"You sound just like the book my academy teacher gave me last winter," Azuki replied, small smile playing across her face. "Anyway, my zanpakuto and I like the early mornings. Quiet, peaceful, no questions, few bystanders..." The arrival of food brought Azuki to the end of her little speech as she spread syrup on her pancakes. The anticipation of sugar made Azuki unconsciously smile. Taking a bite, she swallowed the sweet food. "Yes it is," she replied. Sweets always put her into an uncommonly good mood. "How is your panini?"
