With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
He growled angrily and grit his jaw, biting back harsh words as he let his anger begin to simmer. He hadn't meant to be so harsh, but hey... age seemed to be a sensitive thing to him.
Besides, he had NEVER been called that. Plus his hairs weren't gray yet, so he couldn't be old!
Letting out a sigh. Kenpachi cooled down and lowered his head. But damn if he was going to apologize! Shit! What was with this woman anyways? They would get all cuddly, then joke, then fucking pissed at each other, then back again within a fucking hour!
"I'm..." No. he would not apologize. Never. Nope. Nadda. "...y'know."
"Psh," Aoide said and shut the crack in the door, but not before her arm shot out grabbing one of Kenpachi's bells. She let out a giggle from behind the door, jiggling the bells around in her hand. For someone with no fear of the Demon, she was certainly pushing her luck with his patience. Well that and considering he hadn't figured out that her door wasn't lock and all of her windows were open was rather amusing.
"I'm hiding your bell somewhere on my person so you can't get it back!" Aoide practically sang jiggling the bell again before sticking the bell down her shirt and patting it happily. Would he bust down her door, she hoped not, it had already been replaced once this week due to her accidentally running into it when she thought it was open.
"What the--?! AOIDE!" He bellowed, his reiastu flaring again. He had really not expected her to steal one of his bells. Damn, not he had a limp lock of hair that looked more like an emo bang.
This was not his day.
Kenpachi could feel his anger start to boil in him as his temper flared, along with his reiastu. The wood of the door was already creaking simply from his wild spiritual power, and by all means, he was thinking about knocking it down.
"Wherever my bell is... I'll find it." He said after a moment, forcing himself to keep his cool while saying it. "Now open. this. door."
Aoide just let out another chuckle as the door opened a crack again, her amused brown eye looking out again. Most would have fainted from the flux of spiritual energy, but Aoide had seemed to easily grow use to it the longer she was with Kenpachi. Then with another flash of her hand she grabbed another bell and shut the door again. "Now where will this one go?" Aoide questioned jiggling the new bell before adding it to the one down her shirt.
This was actually kind of fun, she had never grated againt Kenpachi's nerves like this, "If you knock down the door, then how will the rest of our day be private?" she asked, yelling over her shoulder as she headed out to the little courtyard and sat down on her porch, wondering when Kenpachi would actually try to open the door, or if he would just climb through a window.
"Yo." called out a voice from behind her, arms immediately slinking around her and crushing him to his form.
How Kenpachi got in was more or less his secret, and it was something he knew that he was definitely not going to tell Aoide. However, now that the obstacle of the door was out of the way, and... still standing by the way, Kenpachi was going to have his revenge.
"Now..." He growled into her ear, his arms binding her in a death embrace. "... where the hell are my bells huh?"
Without waiting for a response, he dug his teeth into Aoide's neck, not harshly enough to draw blood, but definitely enough to leave a hickey.
He knew one thing though, she wasn't leaving his arms until he got his bells back.
"Ouch you frikkin Vampire!" Aoide protested struggling against Kenpachi's grip, well one thing was for sure she might have been faster then him, but he was diffiently stronger. "You're crushing me baka!" she gasped still struggling before going limp. She pouted a little, not letting Kenpachi know that she liked his rough little love bite. Instead, her fingers clawed at his legs as she tried to figure out a way out of his grip.
"I'm not telling, it's a secret," she said nervously glancing at the bookshelf. Of course they weren't there but a little red herring never stopped anyone else so why shuld it stop her, "Besides my old worry wart of a man, I like your hair down anyway," she sighed dreamily.
"Baka, I ain't gonna fall for that." He growled, holding her tightly to him. "Ya said yerself that it was gonna be on yer body."
"Unless yer lyin' and just want me to feel ya up." He smirked, and did just that, hands indiscriminately running along the front side of her body until he heard a soft jingle.
"You would do that." Kenpachi breathed out against her ear. "Well, Aoide Sato, what do ya say we do about this problem?"
He growled and bit her neck again, this time, harshly enough to draw blood, but just a little bit.
"I'd say, I have you exactly where I want you," Aoide said simply turning around and sitting in Kenpachi's lap, her fingers were fast as she stole all of the bells, taking the two out of her shirt and carefully set them in an empty sake bowl nearby. "You get so grumpy when someone messes with your hair and bells," she pouted touching the area of her neck where he had bitten her and grinned as she saw a few faint traces of blood. "And you get rough too apparently," she added with a fake scowl on her face before she leaned in and kissed Kenpachi, her teeth raking against his bottom lip.
Her fingernails raked against the exposed skin of his chest, when there was a knock on her door. "Third Seat Aoide Sato!" a messenger cried out opening the door, but stopping short when he saw Kenpachi glaring back at him, "Captain Hitsugaya sent you a...message," the guy said trailing off as Aoide glared at him too, "I'll just leave it here," the guy said putting the not on the ground next to the door before closing the door and running off.
"Oh bother," Aoide spoke turning her attention back to Kenpachi and instantly nuzzled her face in his neck and then bit his collarbone in return for the bite earlier. She got to her feet, and walked over to retrieve the message. Her eyes scanned over the message and she sighed, "He wants a report on what happened in the districts," she told Kenpachi before she flopped down on the couch.
He groaned as she drew him into a kiss, so she was right about that height thing. Now that they were sitting down, she had all the height she needed to be dominant.
Not that he minded that at all.
But they just had to be interrupted by a nosy messenger. He swore, if he ever saw that kid again, he would pay dearly. However, the kid was gone before he could get untangled and go after him.
So he just decided... to hell with it.
He growled as she returned his hickie and got to his feet, following her to the couch and sitting down beside her slinking his arm about her slender frame.
"Ya would think that he has spies there or somethin'..." Kenpachi muttered, reading over her shoulder. "How the hell'd he hear about it so fast?"
"I think Baba-chan does, particularly in the districts, he's from out there anyway," Aoide said putting the note on the table and sighing, she turned her attention back to Kenpachi, her own arms slinking around his neck, "It's not the first time he's sent messages for me to do reports before anyone else knows, I swear he's like a kid detective or something," Aoide let out a defeated sigh, "Well at least I don't have to do it right away you know, give me time to collect my thoughts and all."
"So, the day is still young, your squad has probably snuck out of the training grounds and is already drunk, so what do you want to do today?" Aoide asked fluttering her eyeslashes.
