With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Like she even had to ask. Did she not know that she was the one who was on his mind most of the day? If she didn't, then he would sure as hell let her know.
With a smirk, the man rolled over on top of her as they splayed along the long couch. However, he was careful not to crush he with his entire weight, using one of his elbows and support and letting his hair droop down at her from his face.
He smiled widely, leaning down and capturing her lips in a passionate kiss, something that he enjoyed a little too much. It was scary, for someone who was named the demon to actually fall in love with someone.
To be honest, it wasn't even kosher.
But he would worry about that later, thoughts didn't really matter as he slipped his tongue into her mouth, wrestling with her tongue rather easily as they shared their saliva.
He smirked and deepened their kiss, one hand moving and pulling her hair out of her pigtails, allowing it to splay about everywhere.
"... I want ya." He whispered into her lips, gently taking a hold of her bottom lip and sucking on it.
"Teh," Aoide giggled pulling out of the kiss and using her hand to push Kenpachi's face away playfully, "As if that's a new thing," she said rolling her eyes sarcastically, but not fighting Kenpachi's weight ontop of her, instead she grinned at him, "If it would be up to you, your entire life would be Fight, fight, Aoide, Fight fight, more Aoide," she told him her eyes sparkling as she looked up at him.
"Not that I mind too much being shut up for all hours with you, finding all those little places that make you weak as a kitten in my arms," Aoide whispered to him, her arms looping lazily around his neck and she sighed, "After all, I told the truth, I really can't seem to get enough of you Kenpachi. Which is a little scary, what if I get bored, what if you get bored, or worst we just become a boring couple!" she gasped.
He laughed at her worries, as if it was the dumbest thing in the world to consider.
"Well..." He smirked, eyes gleaming rather dangerously. "We'll just have to keep things... interesting."
Kenpachi Zaraki took that time to hungrily capture her lips, his free hand slinking down her body and effectively cup her behind. Yea, he was liking every single moment of this.
That is, until his stomach growled loudly.
He groaned and unwilling pulled away from the lip-lock, "We still haven't eaten, huh?"
He smiled and her and rolled off her, back against the back of the couch to let her up in the process.
"How observant of you, tsk letting your delicate and fragile girlfriend starve," Aoide said dramatically bringing her hand to her face and pretending to weep. "What a cruel man you are Kenpachi Zaraki," she said before she couldn't be serious anymore and started laughing as she sat up and kissed his nose. Shr rolled to her feet, easily sliding off of the couch before heading towards her small cooking area.
"Lets see, I have," Aoide stopped speaking as she opened drawer after drawer, only to find her food had been replaced with beads and kitten drawings, "Nothing, raided by Yachiru again," she sighed hanging her head in defeat.
He chuckled at the scene, it was without a doubt... when Yachiru wanted something, she would get it. After all, she was one of the sneakiest people in Seretei... when she wanted to be.
"Hn... that's too bad." Kenpachi sighed, getting off the couch and slipping an arm around the smaller Shinigami's waste. "Why don't we go to my place, and ya can cook somethin' there eh?"
Besides, that's probably where all her food went. Once Yachiru would realize that they weren't immediately edible, she would just have stuck it in their fridge, and think Kenpachi wouldn't notice.
He did; however, from time to time.
"C'mon Aoide..." He grunted and pulled her along, before stopping dead in the middle of the street. "... Why don't ya lead the way?"
Without giving her a chance to respond, the large captain shot the girl a look that clearly told her not to say a word about it. However, Kenpachi's bad motor skills weren't a secret at all.
